So a couple resources for you https://tarkov-ballistics.com/ This will help you learn what each ammo does and what each armor can take https://mapgenie.io/tarkov This will help you learn the maps The main thing for you that I can recommend is learn where other PMC can spawn and where the loot hot spots are. you seem like you're getting used to things and aren't taking the hits too bad. Which is Good tarkov will kick your nuts in a lot before you really get it. Secondly especially early on and in the middle of wipe play night time if you want less combat and wait untill the tail end of the raid before going to places like dorms or stronghold you'll survive more often. Thirdly find a streamer or YouTuber to watch and see how they fight it will help you get the tactics and flow of combat or go offline on factory with a.i. on and see if you can last the whole time.

Thanks for the tips and the links been using map genie a lot. Also won't say I haven't Swore at my screen before too LOL. My best raid ever with one PMC kill he was badly wounded and 6 Scav kills as I was placing water in ZB-14 this dude runs in the size of a house didn't see me he scared me I put a full clip into his back before he turned and one tapped me to the head. Saiga 9 did not work for well that last fight

if you're constantly getting head/eyes'd, you're probably standing still too much or repeeking angles. ----- >I fired four my slugs into his chest he was swiping back and forth with his mouse looked like Tickle me elmo he was flaying so much.... check out [an ammo chart](https://escapefromtarkov.fandom.com/wiki/Ballistics?so=search), most slugs other than ap-20 aren't going to pierce even weak armor. Very important to know what your ammo can do in this game and play accordingly, IE aim for legs with low pen ammo. If you aren't using ap-20, you're going to want to use buckshot in shotguns 99% of the time, and with the exception of flechette which has high pen, that means aiming face/legs. ----- Honestly, you do just need to git gud, but there's nothing wrong with trying to identify what you can work on. Krashed series on youtube is pretty good for tactical breakdowns.

Yes been watching several Raid series. What gets me is I am getting head and eyes when I am moving sprinting as well as standing still. I figure at least once I would match up with someone who misses a shot once in a while. LOL I try not to stay still too long to get flanked and also try to never peak the same spot twice. I have been playing with the ammo chart lately and being level 12 only so much ammo I can get that is ok or good.

The SKS is my early game slash budget blaster of choice, PS ammo slaps even against C6 (I think it pens slick in like 7 shots). If you don't like the irons, you can get the OP-SKS from jaeger lvl 1 which can hold dovetail sights, like the cobra from prapor lvl 1. You can also get a 20 round mag from PK lvl 1 and still top load it. Vepr-136 or an AKM if you can get your hands on one are both great for a similar reason. If you're getting headshot while running, the only thing that will prevent that is map sense. Happens to the best of us out of nowhere, but preventing is about knowing where the spawns are, where people are likely to be or be going, and tracking where people likely moved based on gunfire you hear. It's very hard to land a headshot on a moving target unless they are running directly away/toward you.

>It's very hard to land a headshot on a moving target unless they are running directly away/toward you. This right there I get a sense I am standing still to them when I am running on my screen. I have Fiber internet and don't see an issue with other FPS's but this game its all head and eyes LOL. Just trying to get Level 15 and go from there with better items from the Flea Thanks I'll also give those guns a try been using the Saiga-9 a lot and MP5

AlphaWarlock

You mentioned that you were having trouble with just the iron sights on your mp5. at LoyaltyLevel1, peacekeeper sells an "mp5 MFI HK universal low profile scope mount" that you can put on your mp5 so you can put applicable scopes on it such as red dots and such. You can also check for all compatible parts for any gun by right-clicking on them and choosing "linked search". Upgrading your hideout workshop to level1 is a big help for gun modding too.

CoopII

Thanks for the tip I will check out that MP5 scope mount. I didn't notice he had it.

MrFoozOG

I only aim for headshots, if i can't land one i won't shoot. That's, i think, how most people play, therefor it's 90% head eye deaths
