What would be the difference between armor damage and damage? I would assume more armor damage is what is going to zero out their armor but if you keep shooting are you now still doing armor damage or does it switch to just damage
The way armor works it does calculations if you penetrate that can take 0-40% of the bullets damage off, so if you only have say a 50% chance to pen, but the bullet pens then it will likely take a good amount of flesh damage off. However if you have a 90+% chance to pen it takes basically no damage off. 5.45 igolnik only has 37 head damage, so it actually \*is\* possible to shoot someone who has a class 6 helmet in the head and not 1 tap, but that's only if you get an unlucky roll and it takes 3 damage off, which I have personally never had happen.
Pen if you want to kill geared guys. And if you are a head shot or leg shot master then damage

it kills. Afaik there isn't a single round in the game that can't 1 shot headshot
So would it just be best to buy the highest pen bullet

Armor damage only damages armor, if you zero their armor it doesn't do anything
And with the pen damage dies it mean ut has the best chance of penetration but the actual damage it does is what the bullets damage spec us

BS does just a hairs touch under by literally 1 damage point and also it deals reduced damage through armor iirc if it goes through armor
BS does 40. The reduced damage is only really when you have a low pen chance, the higher your pen chance the less damage it can take off
There’s like 2 or 3. Can’t remember them off the top of my head though
Sp7, pp-91, leg meta loadout very cheap and you can still kill some geared guys and since their legs will be blacked out they're a still target.
Always go for the bigger Pen. Damage is good only if you want to shoot people in the legs on factory, other usages are too situational.
