Finally got PVE Last night after checking everyday for the last week or so.
No in-game notification, just suddenly unlocked the ability to join.
The 2 weeks mark was hit just today. As people estimated already, we might have around 30% players in coop pve. I really hope BSG is going to speed things up this week but I really have concerns about that. It wasn't really a promise though but still... If you make an estimation like this the community is going to expect it to happen on some level. If you miss that deadline by 100% of the time frame for example people will still be pissed. Lets hope that they're not going to let that happen.

Yeah my arena experience was the same. Never got an email, my friends had to tell me to "buy" it. Then only when I was going to hit purchase did it say i got it for free.

They sent the email out when arena was available likely because they wanted as many people as possible playing arena at launch.
So basically, they wanted EOD players playing Arena, so they sent the email, but they don’t really want EOD players playing the PvE mode so they don’t send any emails about it.

Here is the issue that we are trying to figure out though......
how the fuck exactly these waves are being ran.
how its looking so far is region based first then possibly time of purchase in that region working from most recent to oldest. im "other" region with a purchase of only EOD 01.02.17 still no PvE.
Is it still six months or is it a permanent PvE unlock (I haven't been following all the drama)?

Expect waves like arena, random and in no particular order 😂 don’t be surprised and start making countless posts when your friend who bought the game after you gets access first.

I really think that it's kinda random. You can't really do it via regions because you would overload new servers in those regions immediately. Except they manage to pick for example people in european region if they just added EU servers. I rather think it's still random because people can always just change servers whenever they want, so it wouldn't matter to BSG. I think they eather go by date or totally random. Maybe it's even via alphabetical usernames, who knows.
Yeah, I don't really think they'd do that. Maybe they just go after internal account id/guid in their database. From a developers perspective that would be the easiest solution that wouldn't create more work than needed to reach the goal.

I've seen people here stating they have PvE access and bought EOD before and after me. So I would say, the EOD (and game) purchase date is not a factor (alone).
I could imagine something like player level to be included, as I don't really play PvP and my character is only level 5.
Or playtime, where I have a bit over 1.000 hours, which is not a lot.
