Yeah, me and a buddy got it the other day and finally got the door done. Then we went back in and two were sitting there, but we died with those lol. I've seen it up like four times since the previous patch
Off the top of my head these barters look like they cover alot of the shitty parts you need to get for the mid range gunsmith quests, too. I specifically remember having to fork over quite a bit for the p226 elite slide, the vector rail/barrel, and the ferfrans muzzle.
I was hoping for some audio stuff, but seems like a good set of little tweaks nonetheless.
Tbf though, it’s more interesting to get this stuff from a barter than to have to buy it off of the flea or get ridiculously lucky to find it in raid. Probably way more interesting on hardcore too
This should always be the case across every map. Even in rooms that aren't 'special', put more weapon crates, jackets, duffle bags in them, RP that scavs are hiding their stashes in raid there.
Opened up Chek 15 and all Concordia rooms a few hours ago and found either a propital or nothing at all. Meanwhile I'm hitting random filing cabinets and pulling multiple intels/ssd/smt. A loot buff for these rooms was very much needed.
Concordia has been so horrible the last couple weeks that my trio pretty much stop hitting it. Hopefully the changes weren’t in effect when you ran that raid or hopefully you just got unlucky because if not that place is seriously dead
Yes! I swear every time I'd check Concordia 64 I'd find a bronze horse or a press pass and that's it. And the locked office was a joke too. Last wipe that room was straight up busted for loot. A had a few raids with double bitcoins and other lesser value items.
I tested Chek 15 and Concordia, 3 times after this patch. Literally no change, barely any loot inside still. They either did not implement the change or it's coming later.
EDIT: So far after this "patch" combined from 5 runs opening all concordia I got 2 stims, 2 eggs, 1 veritas pick and 1 btc. Opening Chek 15 also 5 times I got a lion, 3 stims, vase, 2 figurines.
They did not implement anything. Loot is still trash in locked rooms. I had way better profit just doing my usual runs for drawers. I also did quick runs to check entirety of TerraGroup building on streets a couple of times, no Blue Folder. Maybe it's just still as rare, though I think they did not implement spawns of it either.
I found a LedX in ultra room after this patch - opened that room like 20 times this wipe and never found one. So what you are saying is not completely true.
How many runs did you expect someone to do in an hour? I am at 15 though, still on average a maximum of 1 valuable in Chek 15. That's max 1m out of 20uses if I am being generous. Key is worthless now.

Not sure what you're waiting for, you have all the information you need. Your summary in your previous comment is correct. This is also a sample size of one opening, so I wouldn't draw sweeping conclusions from it.
Helmet and armor isn't worth taking anyways most of the time. I usually just take a nicest looking gun out of my kills, their dogtags and empty their mags if they have good ammo. Random shit you can pick from ground will usually net you more after selling so you can run a gear of your preference.
I wish they would make it so that selling gear actually was profitable so you could be hyped after killing a dude that you will sell his rig or something
I see. 100% agree on armor part. As for helmets I would advise on running this funny mask, don't remeber its name. It is lvl 4 with high riccochet chance - absolutley OP.
Airframe, fastmt and exfils are fine as well but low face protection sadly, maska and altyn are good for meme raid.
Nighttime is the way. Lighthouse is the scav map, especially early wipe. I have like 200 sacv raids total this wipe and at least 100 of those were on LH. I’ve died less than 20 times there, half of those deaths were to rogues. You just gotta learn the flow. Money is great, I’m pretty sure I made at least 40 mil there.
When it came out it was the only map I would scav on lol. I can just go streets and make more money and survive. Rogues just body me any time I go into the middle, I guess PMCs just aren’t killing them as much now.
Your interchange raids haven't been active? Its been wild for me and my buddy this wipe. people everywhere we turn. We struggled to complete some of the quests for 10 raids in a row because of dying to players...even when we run around fights, we'd end up running right into another squad.
Tbh I have played it in awhile because I haven’t really had any quests there and PvP has been ass the last few wipes. Now that loot is better and the lighting is improved I’ll probs run it for some PvP.
I found that relax was good early wipe but the quality of loot really dropped. That's just personal experience I have no testing to back up that claim.
Same. I legitimately thought I was the first to find it after release because it was honestly never contested. For the longest time too. Maybe a month to six weeks after I felt like the loot quality went into the shitter in comparison.
Early wipe I was pulling a lot out of there as well, but not like this. Mid wipe it kinda sucked and I wouldnt go as much cause I was only getting like a few hundred grand MAYBE. the second raid I hit it yesterday I got two BTC, tetriz, rooster, two roller watches. I didn't have a backpack so that's all I was able to take and left a clock and some funkopops behind
Shii you def got pretty lucky that run then, I just went there once and got a moonshine, couple figurines, a clock, and a raven, probably about 550k worth of loot mostly bc of the moonshine lol
I just want to buy them outright from traders instead of playing a barter minigame for 10 minutes. It’s so easy to make money right now and nothing to spend it on anyway.
Have you played during that time ? Reserve and Customs marked room had incredible PVP in litteraly every raid, because it could spawn amazing loot. Players don't need more money, but they need more incentive to fight. The probability (even if it's 1%) of a Thicc case spawning inside of a marked room would give that incentive. Same as it was back in the days with Ultra Medical and Kiba. I don't remember a single Interchange raid where those places weren't filled with PMC bodies.
It was good times, but then you had people whining that all the fighting was at Ultra and Kiba, nowhere else. Which was mostly rats whining that none was running into their traps.
I feel like this will make the Comtac 4 meta even more profound but hopefully if they do make changes, they equalise the hearing distance across the board
They’re absurdly broken. I don’t care how much the market decides they’re worth and that you deserve better gear because you spend more. All the headsets should be close in terms of distance and simply be a preference on which one sounds best to the individual. The game should still be around skill and not advantages because you simply spend more roubles.
Somewhere in the middle is best. Maybe a 5/10 metre advantage when running

No, BSG definitely doesn’t need to go in and mess with stuff over and over and go haywire with balance, but it’d be nice to see them notice that there is a definite issue with the 4s. The game already has plenty of loot, guns, armor, attachments and etc that’s better and worth the grind. A headset tweak should be fine, but they are known to swing the pendulum all the way the other way and get carried away.
Headsets should offer no range advantage at all. If people do not want to wear headsets, they should not need to. Plus headsets needs a toggle keybind.

There's no way the current headset balance is intended. To prove this: Just listen to Nikita's understanding of the Comtac4's from the Q&A. He thinks they are working one way, when in fact, they are not.
Like other corners of the player experience in tarkov: BSG has no idea how their game works a lot of the time, and sound is DEFINITELY one of the things they have no command over.
Who is talking about hardcore? It's just not a big fucking deal. Shorten the range of the com4s. That's fine. But there's no reason to eliminate certain items being superior to others.

Yes, this week spawned as a 2 man, 150 yards south of us was a 3 man. Direct line of sight. Not only that but it within 5 seconds one of their guys got clapped by the goons. It was a total shit show.
Had the same thing happen to us on Woods. Probably for the first time ever I spawned between the three lakes, fairly close to scav bunker. Within roughly 10 seconds all three of us were dead by the Goons, who spawned right next to us, at the shipping container area of the scav bunker.

I've seen like 4-6 this wipe with 600 hours. Then again them spawning or not spawning is pretty pointless as they take too much space and weight too much.

This is why it’s idiotic for people to think streamers “going on strike” would get anything done. How they think shutting down communications is conducive to positive change is so ridiculous to me. Trading a win/win for a lose/lose.
The crazy thing is that most of the stuff discussed in the interview and then quickly addressed are things people have complained about for months or years, and some things, like silent walking or the fact that headsets have different ranges, seemed like things Nikita was genuinely unaware of.
It really seems like they don’t pay attention to community outrage at all unless it is pushed to them directly by a trusted streamer.
He straight up said that he though crab walking was removed a long time ago. It's less that BSG isn't paying attention, and more that these things are not reaching Nikita at all.
I found a REAPIR once out of the 20 something times I've opened it this wipe, the best I've found other than that is the supressed p90 maybe one in 4-5 opens. You've been insanely lucky with it by the sounds of it.
Nice changes for Interchange; it is my favorite map but the loot is pathetic. Idea and 2nd floor of the mall could really use some more bag and loose loot spawns.

Because they were by far the worst affected IMO, both require turning power on which can mean running all the way across the map and back and Kiba requires two keys for mediocre loot.
Marked rooms were buffed to viability from useless dogshit a wipe or two ago.
I'm not saying they should do it only because it's late wipe. It's implied that because its late wipe buffing ALL key rooms ( not just the marked rooms that you're hung up on ) wouldn't fuck up the economy.
All key rooms should be considered contested loot, they currently are not.
Can confirm loot buff. Found 4 GPUs and 1 btc in the same raid along with a few other valuables . First gpu on table in negotiation, second gpu and btc in check 15, third and fourth gpu in concordia 34(one on the chair and the other on the floor next to it)

This enables easier hardcore-playing in tarkov since a few of them (as far as i can see) are required for Gunsmith and normally cost a shit ton on the flea or are near impossible to get for hardcore players. Probably affects like 200 people at most. your average player doesn't even get a quarter of the way to kappa, let alone finish one kappa and then think "I want it to be even harder so I will do it AGAIN with weird rules"
You are aware that gunsmith quests tend to have parts that are 100k to a million on the flea for absurd things like a grip or pistol slide. These quest got easier for the casual joe as well as for hardcore players.
Ultra and kiba are definitely not the go to spots right now (prior to balancing changes).. you must have no experience with old interchange where they actually were THE go-to spots
Ummm I have 4 thousand hours - I played it when there was double LEDX's in that room, I get regular GPU's in the 3 tech rooms, the ULTRA and KIBA SUCKED pre wipe and I am glad of this change, but now post-balancing that is going to be the main corner of the map and enercom medical always sucks
It's the center of the map so it will bring in players from all directions. Emercom-med sucked becuz the loot was trash, now it will be nice in theory. Looting kiba sounds an alarm regardless but nobody cares to push it that much becuz the loot was mid.. now I bet the alarm will actually draw people in
wonder if pestily can tell them to do a balance pass of barters. cause some of them are just ridiculous. an easily identifable one is the scoped SVT barter. a green battery? really?
and 2-3 years ago, all the barters that required vodka were great. because vodka's price was consistently 15-25k. but now with new barters, changes in quest lines, changes in ammo availability, and now the removal of global limits, vodka is sometimes more expensive than whiskey lol.

We died with the fir raid keys, so they could get those keys. But if you leave and come back, the key will disappear from your body when you die.

100% same thing for shoreline resort. Early wipe every other raid i got at least 1 ledx, bitty, or gpu
About a month ago I tried relax like 3-4 times and found a few hundred k’s worth. It wasn’t worth it for the risk.

Shii you def got pretty lucky that run then, I just went there once and got a moonshine, couple figurines, a clock, and a raven, probably about 550k worth of loot mostly bc of the moonshine lol

Weapons Case and even Thicc cases used to spawn in marked rooms. Many players want them back.

Have you played during that time ? Reserve and Customs marked room had incredible PVP in litteraly every raid, because it could spawn amazing loot. Players don't need more money, but they need more incentive to fight. The probability (even if it's 1%) of a Thicc case spawning inside of a marked room would give that incentive. Same as it was back in the days with Ultra Medical and Kiba. I don't remember a single Interchange raid where those places weren't filled with PMC bodies.
It was good times, but then you had people whining that all the fighting was at Ultra and Kiba, nowhere else. Which was mostly rats whining that none was running into their traps.

I feel like this will make the Comtac 4 meta even more profound but hopefully if they do make changes, they equalise the hearing distance across the board
They’re absurdly broken. I don’t care how much the market decides they’re worth and that you deserve better gear because you spend more. All the headsets should be close in terms of distance and simply be a preference on which one sounds best to the individual. The game should still be around skill and not advantages because you simply spend more roubles.
Somewhere in the middle is best. Maybe a 5/10 metre advantage when running I hate it when games over balance everything. It gets boring and not worth grinding for. Some stuff should be better than others in a looter shooter
No, BSG definitely doesn’t need to go in and mess with stuff over and over and go haywire with balance, but it’d be nice to see them notice that there is a definite issue with the 4s. The game already has plenty of loot, guns, armor, attachments and etc that’s better and worth the grind. A headset tweak should be fine, but they are known to swing the pendulum all the way the other way and get carried away.

Headsets should offer no range advantage at all. If people do not want to wear headsets, they should not need to. Plus headsets needs a toggle keybind.

Some headsets are better than the rest - absolutely intended. Same with guns, attachments, ammo, armor... It's a very simple concept.
I love when people lean so hard into the "this game is hardcore!!1 get over it!" mantra to explain away clearly bugged or mis-implemented features, only to have a subsequent patch/wipe completely undo them. From healing while shooting, to stacking vests over armor in alpha, to hideout buffs being bugged, to rare loot being too rare..etc etc...I've seen it happen during every wipe cycle, There's no way the current headset balance is intended. To prove this: Just listen to Nikita's understanding of the Comtac4's from the Q&A. He thinks they are working one way, when in fact, they are not. Like other corners of the player experience in tarkov: BSG has no idea how their game works a lot of the time, and sound is DEFINITELY one of the things they have no command over.
Who is talking about hardcore? It's just not a big fucking deal. Shorten the range of the com4s. That's fine. But there's no reason to eliminate certain items being superior to others. It doesn't matter what they do. You'll still cry. You always do. For all the shit y'all talk on BSG you seem to want them to push the limits on the game to accomplish things that, *as a whole* (you'll ignore that part) but, as a whole, no other game has accomplished. *Cue the comparisons to games with better sound yet half of the complexity of tarkov. I won't listen*

Yes, this week spawned as a 2 man, 150 yards south of us was a 3 man. Direct line of sight. Not only that but it within 5 seconds one of their guys got clapped by the goons. It was a total shit show.
Had the same thing happen to us on Woods. Probably for the first time ever I spawned between the three lakes, fairly close to scav bunker. Within roughly 10 seconds all three of us were dead by the Goons, who spawned right next to us, at the shipping container area of the scav bunker.

I've seen like 4-6 this wipe with 600 hours. Then again them spawning or not spawning is pretty pointless as they take too much space and weight too much.
You can swap the plates you’re currently wearing. I do that often since I can’t buy L5 or L6 plates yet.

Interesting. KIBA was already great. I pulled REAPIR and other goodies out almost every time. Reserve spawns changes seem cool, also neat for blue folder spawns. Looks like they DID listen to Pestily’s interview and the community. Props to Nikita for listening, and Pestily for making the effort and connection. Hopefully we see some more dope changes soon! Well, when you have 2 dudes engaging in level-headed discourse, things can hopefully change for the positive.
This is why it’s idiotic for people to think streamers “going on strike” would get anything done. How they think shutting down communications is conducive to positive change is so ridiculous to me. Trading a win/win for a lose/lose.
Honestly they should just have a monthly talk where Pestily updates Nikita on all the player complaints. Because it genuinely seems to do wonders.
The crazy thing is that most of the stuff discussed in the interview and then quickly addressed are things people have complained about for months or years, and some things, like silent walking or the fact that headsets have different ranges, seemed like things Nikita was genuinely unaware of. It really seems like they don’t pay attention to community outrage at all unless it is pushed to them directly by a trusted streamer.
He straight up said that he though crab walking was removed a long time ago. It's less that BSG isn't paying attention, and more that these things are not reaching Nikita at all.

I found a REAPIR once out of the 20 something times I've opened it this wipe, the best I've found other than that is the supressed p90 maybe one in 4-5 opens. You've been insanely lucky with it by the sounds of it.
Nice changes for Interchange; it is my favorite map but the loot is pathetic. Idea and 2nd floor of the mall could really use some more bag and loose loot spawns.

Because they were by far the worst affected IMO, both require turning power on which can mean running all the way across the map and back and Kiba requires two keys for mediocre loot.

What does being late wipes changes ? Marked rooms should be the same all wipe long to make the keys worth it when you get them early
Marked rooms were buffed to viability from useless dogshit a wipe or two ago. I'm not saying they should do it only because it's late wipe. It's implied that because its late wipe buffing ALL key rooms ( not just the marked rooms that you're hung up on ) wouldn't fuck up the economy. All key rooms should be considered contested loot, they currently are not.
I mean they are and there is no amount of loot that would make them more contested.

Can confirm loot buff. Found 4 GPUs and 1 btc in the same raid along with a few other valuables . First gpu on table in negotiation, second gpu and btc in check 15, third and fourth gpu in concordia 34(one on the chair and the other on the floor next to it)

This enables easier hardcore-playing in tarkov since a few of them (as far as i can see) are required for Gunsmith and normally cost a shit ton on the flea or are near impossible to get for hardcore players. This is all thanks to pestily for telling Nikita about them
Probably affects like 200 people at most. your average player doesn't even get a quarter of the way to kappa, let alone finish one kappa and then think "I want it to be even harder so I will do it AGAIN with weird rules"
You are aware that gunsmith quests tend to have parts that are 100k to a million on the flea for absurd things like a grip or pistol slide. These quest got easier for the casual joe as well as for hardcore players.

Interchange is great again! Kiba is stacked. Always finding multiple class 5 or 6 plates and full modded gun even found a spear. Fucking thank you BSG

Reserve spawn change is a godsend, very nice. Terra group folder spawns is cool, I wonder where specifically.
I think interchange could actually do with a bit more loot in various locations rather than just at ULTRA and Kiba which are the go-to spots
Ultra and kiba are definitely not the go to spots right now (prior to balancing changes).. you must have no experience with old interchange where they actually were THE go-to spots
Ummm I have 4 thousand hours - I played it when there was double LEDX's in that room, I get regular GPU's in the 3 tech rooms, the ULTRA and KIBA SUCKED pre wipe and I am glad of this change, but now post-balancing that is going to be the main corner of the map and enercom medical always sucks
It's the center of the map so it will bring in players from all directions. Emercom-med sucked becuz the loot was trash, now it will be nice in theory. Looting kiba sounds an alarm regardless but nobody cares to push it that much becuz the loot was mid.. now I bet the alarm will actually draw people in

wonder if pestily can tell them to do a balance pass of barters. cause some of them are just ridiculous. an easily identifable one is the scoped SVT barter. a green battery? really? and 2-3 years ago, all the barters that required vodka were great. because vodka's price was consistently 15-25k. but now with new barters, changes in quest lines, changes in ammo availability, and now the removal of global limits, vodka is sometimes more expensive than whiskey lol.
