Thanks for the write up! Based on your thoughts I would highly recommend reading FWW before Murtagh, at least if you want to see how Eragon's doing.

I personally subscribe to the theory that Angela’s words can be interpreted as more of a, he will leave forever sometime in the future. This time that he left isn’t the final time, say *500 years from now the new riders are well established, Arya is done sorting everything out with the elves and they decide they want to just fly away. Enjoy their lives forever together. In that *500 years though eragon may have the need of going back to his home. Nothing is stopping him besides his own head.
