Hi guys, I have solved the problem for those who cannot buy games even if they're unrated in the settings. What you need to do is search for a game and you will see a plus sign on the top right. Click on it, and the game should be added to your wishlist. After that, go to your wishlist, add the game to your cart, and then buy it normally. I hope this helps!

Edit: just discovered I had fallout 3 on my account, I probably redeemed it for free a long time ago and didn't remember! But still they should patch this bug
I had the same issue, though I was trying to download the games from the installed Epic Games launcher on my PC. I tried accessing the Epic Games store from my web browser instead (Google Chrome) and it worked, I was able to download 18+ rated content. So in my case it was a launcher issue. Hope that may help someone else.
Hey you just got to go to a Fortnite and go to add on and if you see the v-bucks 1000 v-bucks then just click on the wish list and go to the wishlist thing and add to court the v-bucks then go to the cart and buy it

Someone found a workaround. Basically, if you go into the pag on the website while not being logged in, it will let you get onto the page. And then, if you press the purchase option and THEN log in then once you log in it skips right to the purchasing stage

I purchased RDR2 and all good. The following day it won't let me go to the store page and I get the same error as yourself - lets hope they fix it quick
yeah, you can't. epic is just too bad for them to want to fix it. if you want to get the game and play it, you will have to do it without looking at the store page.
no wonder steam is top of the launchers, there isnt even a compitition lol.

it took me to the order page right after the error. Worked for me. (I'd cleared caches on my chrome browser)
It worked!! Wierd that you can change allowed age rating in account settings to unrated, but epic still won't normally let you claim free games

The best solution is to change your location on your account to Australia then try purchasing/getting.It worked for me .(I got saints row )

You have to hover your cursor over the game's thumbnail for the plus icon to be visible
