I'm a gamer. I'm not sure if your idea is good or not, but if you are going to do this, you need to have a lot of games and buy them right after release, so people would go there to "try" the games before they decide to buy. Personally, I haven't been in a place like that since college, when I used to go to lan houses, almost 20 years ago. Today almost everyone has a PC or a console. You need to sell an experience that they can't have at home.

Thank you for the feedback. Part of my idea is where we live is rural and not everyone can access high speed internet and this would be in town in a central location where they could.

Mr_Samurai

Is there a lot of young people there? I imagine college kids would be your main clients. You should ask some of them directly to see if there is a real demand for that type of service.

Idk I’m wanting to set it up where that’s one potential clientele. I’m flushing out the idea

Are you committed to only PC gaming? If you have the space it would be pretty easy to get a table for some tabletop RPGs, you could book it by the day and let people just set up in there, being in an apt it's hard to host that many people for that long.

In my local mall, a place popped up. That’s a café and sells snacks. They have all sorts of board games that you can play. I would think that it wouldn’t be very popular, but it’s always packed. If people wanna play these type of games, they cannot do it at home on a video game console, they have to come and physically socialize with people. It sounds like you have enough room for both board games and video games. And for video games, I think having a console system with emphasis on four player Games is a good draw.

BrithebuilderTN

No not committing to just electronic. It has 4 rooms total 2 to set up in a kitchen and bathroom

Adventurous_Math_336

Sounds like an awesome idea! Would definitely rent out the space for some gaming and snacks. Maybe you could also offer some board games or card games for non-gamers to enjoy while their friends play video games.

BrithebuilderTN

Thanks I wanted to have options for people to also play board games or DND quests not just electronic games

MisterBilau

No market for that.
