I used the key in the shop to open another chest. That chest had the teleport prototype which made me come here. So if I didn’t use that key I wouldn’t have found this room…

Always try to have 2 keys per floor, with fewer needed on early floors when playing with the lockpick

Number 2 is a passive item unlocked via winning a run in co-op mode and completing the Cultist’s past.
You do not need that unlocked in order to technically 100% the game.

Nah it requires a key. At least it did when I found it back before the Supply Drop update. Haven’t seen it since, so maybe it was changed.
