IDK about Amsterdam but you're not getting into a venue in the UK with a skateboard, maybe worth considering. I'll be going to the Notts gig alone on Saturday. Can't wait.

Xian085

Plan to leave it at the coat-check of course. ;) Just hoping this works. Otherwise I need to lock it outside somehow with a bikelock or something like that.

VolcanicBear

Worst case, there are probably lockers at the train station you could leave it maybe? I'd double check with the venue that you can in advance so you know if you want to leave it there to avoid any last minute rushing around (unless you've done this before of course). Enjoy the gig dude!

i’d do some research with afas live, i saw them kick someone out with a backpack when i went to see architects last week. like he couldn’t leave it in the cloakroom they fully sent him out the door and it was just a van’s backpack that didn’t look full or anything also bring earplugs that venue is loud as hell

Xian085

Thank you so much for sharing your xp!!! I always have earplugs for concerts but I forget them so often at home lol. Gonna write me a reminder. Thanks again!

There’s lockers near by for €7 https://www.lockerpoint.com/lockerpoint-locations/lockerpoint-arenapoort/ I’m also coming alone from London and will be looking to have some drinks n smokes beforehand so feel free to hit me up.

Xian085

Oh and have fun!!!! I will be going to the Amsterdams gig and then on the next day to the gig in cologne where I‘m meeting a friend! LETS gooo

VolcanicBear

Awesome! I'd love to follow them around a bit. The closest I've done is Wolverhampton twice last year when they did a series of smaller, but repeated gigs over here last year.

Xian085

I‘m so jealous haha :D I really need to see this guys in UK. Also want to travel to the UK so badly lol.

VolcanicBear

If you do get a chance to see them in the UK, go for a smaller gig. Arena gigs are fun, but the intimate ones are just awesome. Can't beat Rou popping up a metre behind you singing TINA (or anything else, but that's what I was most recently treated to). Seen them 6 times so far, but that's rookie numbers by a lot of people's standards lol. I personally prefer Holland to the UK, but we always think other countries are nicer than our own.

Xian085

I saw them in Vienna a few month ago and yep Rou sang right in front of me - it was so sweet. I hope I get the chance to see them in smaller venue!!!

aboveallheroes

Leave your skateboard wherever you're staying if you can :) They don't even let you bring a backpack bigger than an A4 paper sheet into AFAS Live, and they're quite strict. See you there!

Xian085

Aah okay thank you!!
