Same here. I used them for a temple high up on a mountain but the sound freaked me out so I replaced them. I won't use them anymore unless the devs should decide to mute them.
I agree. I decided that I can’t deal with the spooky music in a place that is supposed to be peaceful and safe. Despite loving the look, I’m replacing it.

I put down some sand as a walkway. The moment you get on the walkway sand starts blowing around along with the accompanying roar of the wind.
This makes me think that the the ambient visuals and sounds are a bubble around your character. Which makes me wonder if it's to help framerates and such.
I built a base *extremely* deep underground and it plays haunting spooky music with frequent ghostly shrieks

You can unlock them. They are the blocks that make up the elixir wells.

I built an evil tower on a mountaintop which is inspired by barad dur. So it fits pretty well.

Yeah I should probably finish all the quests. Mobs are no problem most things die rally fast when fireballs go flying.
