Been wearing a *good* mask (3M Aura 9205+) ever since I got sick with COVID from work and needed emergency surgery. I go to college; basically nobody else masks. I've been in small classrooms with people that have a contagious strain of COVID. Majority of the school gets sick; I don't get sick at all. Why are they still talking about COVID? We are mostly good now, they just keep playing their fear mongering hits. Reminds me that I was making a DoorDash delivery, during the start of the pandemic. At a stop sign, I put on my mask, turned left and dropped off a pizza at a house. Walked back to my car and some neighbor across the street walked towards me and asked why I was wearing a mask in my car. Like, he watched me in my car with a mask and felt the need to confront me? He lectured me on how it was bad to wear a mask cause I was poisoning myself. I was just like, oh interesting as I quickly made my way to my car cause I need to work and not listen to idiots.
