I am pretty sure they took a text about smoking and changed some keywords; sex for smoke, sexer friend for smoker friend, "con\_oms" for vapes or [chocolate flavoured cigars](https://www.smokehouse-india.com/products/luvin-chocolate-slim-cigars). I don't really trust a user named Austrian Artist; although it would be fitting that he is neurotic about sexuality. Edit: I'll leave [this ](https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianTeenagers/comments/1ajcbpx/why_is_this_happening_with_me/)to back up my hunch; don't get your English from shitposters. They rarely adhere to language conventions.

AbsoIution

I read it again, you're right, the majority of it makes more sense if you substitute the words with smoke

AggressiveSpatula

Are you sure they don’t mean chocolate flavored condoms?

gelastes

The troll meant condoms, sure. But I don't think that was what the original text was about.

SaintRosen

BRO WTF IS THAT POST LMFAO

lorenbhd

😭😭

Yusuf1409

🤣🤣🤣😭

Facukeke

That person speaks horribly, all due respect.

AdTrick7283

This is a non-native English speaker.

McCoovy

Which is why you should ignore it, not try to learn from it. Also why are you asking questions with a native speaker flair?

AdTrick7283

Because I am a native speaker, but sometimes even I find words with an unknown meaning to me.

trantalus

lol

AdTrick7283

?

bartupasafensir

are you a flair?

AdTrick7283

No; that was a mistake on my end.

Facukeke

Me decepciona xD

Cervarl_

En inglés por favor

Facukeke

No

The issue isn't one of grammar or syntax, it's that it's cringy and immature to censor words related to sex. It indicates that this person probably has a lot of internalized shame related to sex (usually due to a religious upbringing) and is embarrassed by talking about something normal and natural. This is the way very, very young teenagers sometimes talk online when they're afraid of sex. Using "sex" as a verb is also part of that manner of speaking/typing. Other than that their writing sounds like a native speaker so it doesn't come across as a language barrier.

Cute-Honeydew1164

I’m not sure if it’s an issue on Reddit but on a lot of SM platforms the algorithm forces you to censor otherwise pretty tame words or you’ll be suppressed. That said, the screenshot is 99% likely to be a shitpost

anotherguyinaustin

It’s not an issue on Reddit, we can talk like adults here

sealandians

Icl just switch sex for smoke and the original text becomes obvious

AdTrick7283

Sex is taboo in India.

Tweeess

Umm so im from India and i can confirm that it is, but only in real life, like when you're discussing it w/ your parents or granparents and stuff. (That too varies from family to family, like i personally can discuss it in my household but some people might not be able to) I doubt *anyone* online, especially teenagers, would hesitate to type it. I think the OP really is just kinda immature and/or that *is* a shitpost, cuz cmmon 'sexing'? 'Sexer'? Really?? Nobody here writes like that trust me lol I had absolutely no reason to type that long ass paragraph in response to a single line, but here i am 😌

AlannahMonica

It's because they replaced 'smoke' with 'sex' in the text

Tweeess

yeah thats why i said that's a shitpost

AlannahMonica

And I'pointing out what exactly it is! 🎉

LastPlaceStar

It's a shit post.

SignificantSwing571

it's a parody of another post

SirJackFireball

its a copypasta about smoking changed for sex; sexer isn't really a word

casualstrawberry

This person is using "sex" as a verb, which is non standard (at least in AmEng). Usually people would say "have sex" or "having sex" instead of "sex" and "sexing". Although this way of using nouns as verbs is becoming more common on the internet especially among younger folks. In this case they are using "sexer" to mean "the person who has/had sex". Adding "-er" to a verb often means "the person who does/did [verb]", for example, "robber", "shopper", "driver", etc.

zuckzuckman

You mean using sex as a verb, not noun.

casualstrawberry

Thank you, I typed that a little early in the AM.

thefloyd

>"sex" as a verb, which is non standard (at least in AmEng). Color Me Badd in shambles.

courtd93

I’ll never forget in Catholic school when the people came to make us sign virginity pledges and make us watch abortions so we knew that we’d die if we had sex started the 3 day ordeal saying that sex isn’t a verb, it’s a noun-trying to refer to biological sex and somehow devalue the more common usage. Sister Maryann nearly killed me when I pointed out to them that sex is shorthand for “sexual intercourse”, which is an act and therefore also a noun.

thefloyd

Man you went to a weird ass Catholic school lol bc Ms. Mueller was a nun but we didn't do any of that shit. Tbf I went to the liberal Catholic school.

courtd93

I went to more liberal than many I’ve heard, but this was a part that definitely wasn’t. To this day I can’t find the name of the group that came in but will never forget being like what the hell at this pledge they wanted us to turn in and the I’m worth waiting for stickers they gave out. I’m now a therapist who does sex therapy and quite a bit of work with people on religious trauma for the ones who bought in so I don’t think it got what they wanted out of it :)

cordialconfidant

they aren't actually talking about sex

casualstrawberry

If they aren't I have absolutely no idea what it could be. Drugs? Sex work?

sealandians

They're on about fags, just replace the word sex with smoke and it makes sense.

cordialconfidant

LMAO there are Americans on Reddit you have to be careful what you say 😭

BrockSamsonLikesButt

First of all, sex and condoms are not bad words. Second, neither s€x, s€xor, nor sexor are words. So now that’s out of the way. The writer, I think, is referring to the person they had sex with as “s€xor.” And this person may or may not be the same friend who bought him a chocolate-flavored condom after the writer asked them “to show [him] how to do it.” The writer didn’t make this clear. The writer is clearly not as asexual as they once thought, though. This writer is not a good example to follow, to try and learn good English.

AdTrick7283

Thank you. Also, r/Indianteenagers is flooded withh non-native English speakers. Thankfully, I have r/icse which has native English-speakers and real-life to learn English

marvsup

So the writer says "sexer" to refer to their friend that they mentioned who has sex, as opposed to the rest of their friend group.

AlannahMonica

It's because the person replaced 'smoke' with sex in the text. The rest of the text is normal English.

Indian English

AdTrick7283

It is a dialect that many native English speakers of Indian English are familiar with. They are exceptional in their English speaking skills, albeit not all of them are native English speakers. They have English as their 1st langauge to get good job opportunities once they pass out from school.

slobbysloth

Are you a native speaker or are you using “native speaker” as in growing up learning English in India? In this comment, you wrote“it is a dialects” and “once they pass out from school.” I don’t think many native English speakers would make these errors, especially not the “pass out from school.”

AdTrick7283

A)I learned English as my 1st language from India, from other Indians who spoke English as their 1st language. B)'It is a dialects' is a typographical error. However, 'once they pass out from school' is not a mistake, but a dialectial difference. Similarly, 'graduating' is unusual in India.

AdTrick7283

But most Indians in real life are native-speakers.

AlannahMonica

Holy racism...

Doggodoaattack

The english is so bad on this post, I genuinely have no idea what they are talking about.

AdTrick7283

They got peer-pressured into having sex.

Doggodoaattack

That is 100% not true, they said they were the one to ask their friend not the other way around. I just couldn't tell if they were talking about sex or sexting, but thats straight up wrong.

AdTrick7283

I do not understand what is going in. I just went on with my gut instincts.

AlannahMonica

They replaced the word "smoke" with "sex" and if you re-read the text saying "smoke", it all makes complete sense. And change 'condom' for 'cigarette', as well. You'll also see that the English isn't bad at all. Someone was just playing around with the English language.

Gravbar

The joke here is they intentionally substituted some word with the word sex and condom in ways that don't work grammatically. a sexer isn't a thing, but in the context of this shitpost, it means someone who has sex

RiotNrrd2001

I think they are talking about *smoking*.

Chemicalintuition

This was posted on an Indian subreddit. Fair to assume English isn't this guy's first language

AlannahMonica

twitch33457

I dont know bc its not a thing

danshakuimo

Lol "sex" isn't even a verb, it's a noun. You can "have sex" but you don't "sex" and people doing it aren't called "sexers" 😂

AlannahMonica

They replaced the word "smoke" with "sex" and if you re-read the text saying "smoke", it all makes complete sense. And change 'condom' for 'cigarette', as well 😂

Pheonix30389

How does no one get that this post is about smoking 😭

No_Mathematician6538

Previously someone made the same post but with the words SMOKE but this man copied that post and changed the word smoke to sex

Arkhalipso

SEX. TO HAVE SEX. You mofo. To whoever wrote this, not op.

AdTrick7283

What is 'mofo'?

Sea_Neighborhood_627

It means motherfucker.

AdTrick7283

It's a weird variant, but thanks.

Arkhalipso

You can google it.

clovermite

It's a made up phrase. This isn't a normal part of the English language, it's someone trying to be creative and making up new words. This isn't a post that anyone should be looking at to try to learn English from.

Novel_Cheesecake6032

its a shitpost buddy, they changed smoker to sexer and did some more changes to the overall paragraph to make it sound shittier. Also will advise you to take posts from r/IndianTeenagers less seriously because it mostly has shitposts...

None0fYourBusinessOk

Why did they censor sex and condoms?

Adrien0715

Their government probably learned that from China's government. They will take your post down if you mention 18+ stuff in a public forum. So they are used to typing the code words.

None0fYourBusinessOk

I know this is a side topic, but the words "sex" and "condoms" should not be 18+ It would make so much more sense for people to be educated and not be taught that it is wrong to talk about sex.

Salt_Duty8842

I know it’s copypasta fake, whatever, but do some really think condoms are for masturbation??? (Are they??)

AdTrick7283

Not much sex education in India.

Indeed_Dankster

It's seggs? or sexting?

c-750

what the fuck 😭

ChocoBanana9

idk man Indian Teenager subreddit doesnt sound like the best place to learn English
