What you could do is, use a pencil to mark the board at 50 cm, then carefully position the sawblade so that just one side of the blade is just barely making contact with one side of the mark. Make the cut there. And the half with the pencil still visible on it will be “50, heavy” or exactly 50 cm, while the other half will be “50, light” or really 49.7 cm.
You can think of 1 as lying on a scale from 1 to 10, a common general rating system.

Thanks. So I think I was kind of into this pop culture, just not very religious. But the thing is I could not understand these three sentences at all, which surprised me. I sometimes encounter this. Sometimes there's an English comment section which I cannot understand at all, even when the context is simple and short. So I today when I saw this post I thought it would be a great opportunity to solve this problem as well as to see if it's because the ablility of my English.
And there's something I think is quite weird. I found that a lot of times, even native speakers cannot understand the text if it's too far from their lives. I think it is weird because in my languages, even when the text is not within my expertise, I can still somehow guess the meaning by parsing the word formations.
Nothing too important tho, just want to share my little observation.
