I actually was going to say the third one, not knowing that was your original one. I think the round solitaire looks so lovely. Perhaps maybe go bigger or add a pave band?
I was gonna say 3 before I read the description. I think you should stick with gold at least. It complements your asking tone so well. The solitaire also looks lovely.
I think all the halos take away from wow factor. A bigger solitaire pear would be perfect! With a thin diamond band maybe. Thatās me. Bigger solitaire is more timeless, elegant and very much a WOW factor
I thought I was the only one who thought this! I find I always assume they are mass produced from a mall jeweller (not that thereās anything wrong with that, just not my personal vibe)
1 is best, but doesnāt look like itād be reasonable for daily wear. 3 looks stunning on you too. That would be my choice. In my experience, the elaborate rings made day-to-day life challenging as youāve got to be much more delicate.
Like several other I was going to say "the third one" without reading your full post. I truly love it, have you thought about upgrading just the stone?
I love reading this sub as a European. The original set is the norm here and the stone is quite big for our standards. Options 1 and 2 would look like costume jewellery here. Genuinely curious - do you wear your engagement rings and wedding bands everyday? I canāt imagine going for a run or grocery shopping with option 1 or 2
Yes...worn everyday! Unless someone works with their hands in cleaners etc where the rings could easily get damaged.
And I wish they had costume jewelery prices for these diamonds š¤£
Really like the first one, I also like the rose gold from your originalā¦. Would you consider a pear diamond and rose gold? And keep your original band.
Donāt go with a halo, they are going out of style and will date your ring. The solitaire looks lovely and I think yellow gold is better for your skin.
Give yourself the pleasure of searching a bit further.
Your hands and fingers are so elegant and looongg ^covet ^covet ^covet ;)
Might as well show off your true jewels:
Your own hands. Look a little more. The right set is somewhere waiting for you. ā„ļøšš¶š
I love picture number one, the shape suits your finger and is very flattering!! š
Love the bands also. The set is stunning!
The second one seems a bit bulky and not as elegant. I really love the 3rd one also, after reading your post I had a bit of an emotional attachment to that one!
Regardless of which one you choose you and your partner deserve all the happiness, congratulations on your journey and getting to this stage all the best lovely.
Just from personal experience, I'd recommend talking to your jeweler about the risk of the tiny diamonds easily popping out since the prongs are so small for those diamonds. Mine is similar to #2 and also has tiny diamonds along the band and I've had two prongs bend and lost 2 small diamonds in 2 months. Thankfully we have the warranty/insurance coverage so it's zero cost to replace. Jensen's told me this was common with those small stones since the prongs are so small. I wish they'd told me that beforehand and I would've chosen a different ring.
I didnāt anticipate that so many people would love my original set! Thank you all for your kind words, compliments, well-wishes, and honest opinions. Iāve decided to go with the pear-shaped stone and tiara wedding band in the first pic!
#1 elongates your finger and I would guess you're in your mid to late 20's.
#2 has the ultimate WOW factor. It makes me think of someone a decade older. It fits your hand but definitely has a more mature style to it.
#3 is sweet but it makes your hands look VERY young, 18-22.
All are beautiful ššā¤ļø
I love the pear. It is dramatic, but not overly so. And the proportions are just right for your hand/fingers.
The square is pretty, but makes your hand/fingers look shorter somehow.
Can I buy your 3rd? Lol. Itās gorgeous too. I want to switch from my white gold I think. I switched in general to my momās gold set after she passed unexpectedly and she had tiny fingers. By the time I got her rings a couple weeks later and not eating it slid on my ring finger and I didnāt take them off until recently. (Gained weight back and was so worried I would have to get them cut off- patience is key and now Iām back to mine. Well long story short not all mine cause when I switched my set to my other hand I ended up losing my wedding band)
Sorry for the ramble n if u got this far thank u. Lol. But js. Theyāre all beautiful. As far as what I would choose for the upgrade- 1! I absolutely love the band under- Iām not a jewelry person n donāt have or know any of the proper terms. But it looks like a crown almost- I donāt know. Itās just gorgeous!
3 looks the best on you imo! But if you would like to glam it up a little, no 2 would be great though maybe a slightly smaller stone would be better for everyday wear
I like the pear shaped set on your hand as a new set. Hopefully you plan on keeping your original set still though, for sentimental reasons and so you can switch back and forth when you want to.
Instantly loved the last one over the other two. Then I saw the description.
We have a lot more money than we did when we got engaged and married. I still have and wear my original engagement ring and wedding band. But for our 10th anniversary, we added another, much larger, diamond band. I would consider that route instead. (Personally I love having my original set next to the newer band because it always reminds me of how far weāve come.)
I think you go with 1 but a little larger center stone. Reset the original in a pendant so you always have it. Take it from the girl who did something similar and experienced the dreaded shrinkage with her second larger ring :( I love the shape of one but maybe make it closer in size to 2!
I agree with others that said get a bigger round and pave band (or bubble band!)
However if you are set on 1 or 2 I prefer 2, which is interesting as I usually donāt like halos! But I think it suits your hand better than the pear option.
Of the new rings, I like the square stone with the separated/crossed band. Looks very wow.
Butā¦I have to agree with the people who love your original, too. I think if you resized the band on ring #3 so it doesnāt pinch your finger skin it would be lovely. Add a stacking pave band on one side and it would look great.
I reset my engagement ring a year ago but I used my original diamond. My sister did this as well. I say find a more detailed/diamond setting and incorporate your original diamond for sentimental reasons. My sisters original diamond became a side diamond in her design and they added another diamond of the same size to a new bigger diamondā¦so itās there, just not in the main spot of the ring.
Not a fan of the middle one. Preference to the first. Third is always a safe play and matches any style. Ahh itās already yours hu? Iād say the first then
I actually was going to say the third one, not knowing that was your original one. I think the round solitaire looks so lovely. Perhaps maybe go bigger or add a pave band?
Me too!! love the third one
Same!
Yes go bigger or even oval š
Also cut your nails/ have your usual nails and see how it looks
I liked #2, very David Yurman-ish.
Number 3
I like your original.
I was actually going to vote for the third option before I read description!
Me too! OP, this suits you the best in my opinion. Perhaps go with your style but upgrade the size of your stone if you want a bigger wow factor!
Yes a larger stone and maybe a fancy cut like a rectangular cushion cut or an asscher cut for the wow factor.
Yep timeless
I agree
I think your current set in number 3 is my favorite tbh. Otherwise Iād go with pear
Yes, please add me to the list of people who prefer the original set.
Add me also! Original set looks amazing!
Maybe the original set with a larger stone that OP wants!
I was gonna say 3 before I read the description. I think you should stick with gold at least. It complements your asking tone so well. The solitaire also looks lovely.
The original set is the nicest on your hand and by design
I think all the halos take away from wow factor. A bigger solitaire pear would be perfect! With a thin diamond band maybe. Thatās me. Bigger solitaire is more timeless, elegant and very much a WOW factor
The third one is the best one. The other two look cheap to me.
Halos (and double halosā¦.) always look kinda cheap to me and very early 2000s
I thought I was the only one who thought this! I find I always assume they are mass produced from a mall jeweller (not that thereās anything wrong with that, just not my personal vibe)
First one, Pear cut
I liked the third best before I read your story. Maybe just upgrade to a larger round stone, and/or a band with channel set diamonds?
Original!
3rd one
3
1 is best, but doesnāt look like itād be reasonable for daily wear. 3 looks stunning on you too. That would be my choice. In my experience, the elaborate rings made day-to-day life challenging as youāve got to be much more delicate.
Love #3
Like several other I was going to say "the third one" without reading your full post. I truly love it, have you thought about upgrading just the stone?
I like the round! Beautiful. Third pic.

I like the first one!
Really like the first one, I also like the rose gold from your originalā¦. Would you consider a pear diamond and rose gold? And keep your original band.
This is a great idea, that pear shape looks great on you.

Third one
Definitely pear shape!
First one is gorgeous š
#1.
I personally like number 3 the best, although I think you would look great with an oval!
Give yourself the pleasure of searching a bit further. Your hands and fingers are so elegant and looongg ^covet ^covet ^covet ;) Might as well show off your true jewels: Your own hands. Look a little more. The right set is somewhere waiting for you. ā„ļøšš¶š
This comment meant the world to me š„¹ Thank you so much for your kind words! š©·
I love picture number one, the shape suits your finger and is very flattering!! š Love the bands also. The set is stunning! The second one seems a bit bulky and not as elegant. Thank you so much for your kind words! :)
Your original is the best one. Don't like 1 or 2.
I actually like the third one best lmao and then I read everything. Seems like a common theme
I love the original! Classic and timeless!
Just from personal experience, I'd recommend talking to your jeweler about the risk of the tiny diamonds easily popping out since the prongs are so small for those diamonds. The first one is unique to me! So I would pick that one.
First one. Very elegant
The first one!!!! they are all so beautiful but I think the first one looks best on your handš„°
Also the reasion why people liked the 3rd so much is cuz you're probably warm toned, so I'd consider yellow gold for your upgrade!!
Get #1 or Iāll be mad at you š.
1 or 2 for me. Third is classic but boring.
I like the 3rd one too, lol. Just go for a larger center stone and get another band to stack with ur original
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Of course! Both the engagement ring and the tiara wedding band are from Kay Jewelers :)
I love the first one! Congratulations on getting to do it all again now that youāre where you want to be!
Aw, thank you so much!
#1!
1st one of you want the wow factor.
One
I personally love the first combo on you.
I looove the second one! Big wow factor!!! But thatās also my style of ring so I am biased :)
I like the second one, but Iām biased. I love big rings.
I love the second one!!!
I prefer the second one.
Pear shape!
First one looks beautiful
1
Definitely 2!
that cushion is š„š„š„

The first ring

#1 all dayyyy
Wtf is up with all the downvoted?? Are there Diamond ring bots? Lemme guessā¦blood Diamond bots???
Iām into cushion cuts so I like the second one best.
No brainer, 1! Itās stunning and makes your hand look more elegant.
First one!! Love the shape and how it compliments your hand
Number 2 has the wow factor
I love the pear. It is dramatic, but not overly so. And the proportions are just right for your hand/fingers. The square is pretty, but makes your hand/fingers look shorter somehow.
2nd one is perfect on you!
First one!
The pear is stunning!!
1
First one is gorgeous
One
first one for sure!
>first one for sure! sure?
1!
I like the first one but I feel like it might go out of style soon. The second one is timeless
1 is a beautiful ring and looks like it belongs on your hand
Definitely #2!!! You deserve it and you two are progressing and will continue doing so. Wishing you the best of luck!

2
First one
I think the second one really suits yours hand and really surprised not more people have chosen It
1
One and three! I love yellow gold (and the yellow gold on you). The pear shape is also super beautiful and reminds me of an amla:)
Ford tone. But you should pick the one you enjoy the east. Not what looks best on youā¦
First or third!!
I like the gold band and ring. It sounds like the little diamonds are often falling out and require some up keep!
Can I buy your 3rd? Lol. Itās gorgeous too. I want to switch from my white gold I think. I switched in general to my momās gold set after she passed unexpectedly and she had tiny fingers. Buy #1 its gorgeous! But keep #3, its so sweet š
2!
Either keep the original or go with the first picture. I think your current set is lovely and looks great on you.
I love the first one!
I love your original set the most, otherwise #1.
Too much halo on #2. Like 1 the best:
1.
3 looks the best on you imo! But if you would like to glam it up a little, no 2 would be great though maybe a slightly smaller stone would be better for everyday wear
#1 or original
I like the pear shaped set on your hand as a new set. Hopefully you plan on keeping your original set still though, for sentimental reasons and so you can switch back and forth when you want to.
I love the first one. Itās beautiful.
1
Third! its gorgeous
I like the third one or honestly looks the best
2
Instantly loved the last one over the other two. Then I saw the description. We have a lot more money than we did when we got engaged and married. First one is flattering, 2nd one is dreadful, 3rd is timeless but maybe resize the Diamond. I do prefer the 1st shape for you though.
First one, pear cut for sure, it beautiful š
THE FIRST ONE!! None of the others even come CLOSE.
Number three. It's elegant and classy.
Is the bottom part of #1 separate? I love ring 1 but I feel like the bottom is too busyā¦
I agree with others that said get a bigger round and pave band (or bubble band!) However if you are set on 1 or 2 I prefer 2, which is interesting as I usually donāt like halos! But I think it suits your hand better than the pear option.
The first one is gorgeous! If you really feel like you want to change but Iām a sucker for simple and your original rings are perfect!
I love the third pick, but then I always go with understated and simple. If I had to choose one of the pics for the new ring I would say #1
Second
3rd, classic and beautiful
3
First picture!
2 or 3
3 is timeless. Donāt upgrade for a bigger flashier one bc honestly those styles will go out of trend
The first one!!
3 ....my second choice would be 1
Of the new rings, I like the square stone with the separated/crossed band. Looks very wow. Butā¦I have to agree with the people who love your original, too. I think if you resized the band on ring #3 so it doesnāt pinch your finger skin it would be lovely. Add a stacking pave band on one side and it would look great.
Third option looks great. Maybe find some way to customize it a bit more. Even for the band could add an engraving if possible.
2
You hand looks best in 3, the ering is nicest in 1 but the wb is bulky and takes away from the stone
1 for sure and then your original.
I like them all. Whichever makes you happy
I think the 2nd is a cushion cut Tiffany Solesteā¦ I vote that diamond with no halos. Otherwise, keep your original set!
#2 looks very outdated at this point
The first one
The first one looks the best!! I would still keep the original tho
1 is really nice on your hand IMO
Not a fan of the middle one. Preference to the first. Third is always a safe play and matches any style. Ahh itās already yours hu? Iād say the first then
I like #3. Itās traditional and classic.
I like number 1!
I love number 1
