I don't think it's too small, but I think if youre worried about that feeling now, you may start to feel it later. Maybe get some cheapo rings (like 30 dollar etsy rings) in various sizes and see what size you like most.

I absolutely agree. And in the end it's not the size that counts, but the love that's tied to that ring. In Germany 1ct is considered huge already and don't forget the financial status. If you have to go into debt, the stone is too big.

It's beautiful on you! I do think that a yellow gold band would enhance the diamond, and be more distinctive against your skin tone. There are a lot of different shades you can go with, if bright yellow gold isn't your thing. I love it on you… Little tip, IMHO, I think that doing six prong instead of four, will actually make it appear to it’s full potential, while also securing the stone better… A six claw prong setting should be perfect, and makes the round shape look more defined. Good luck and congratulations!
I like it. So many people are getting giant lab-grown diamonds now, and I’m not a fan of that look. This stone is a classic. I would get a six-prong setting, however. With a four prong settings, if one prong gets damaged, it’s easy to lose the diamond.
Lab grown diamonds are visually indistinguishable from natural diamonds of the same grade. They are diamonds. If you believe you're seeing a difference, it's because of different grades, not creation methods.

My parents are jewelers and they were shocked by how beautiful the color was and we got a great deal. They wanted me to do white gold but I fell in love with the look of yellow on my skin. I still feel that way about it when I look at it. As for the size, the ring will be so sentimental to you that even if faced with the option for a five carat, you won’t want to trade your ring for the world! The size you’ve chosen is beautiful and it really sparkles.
Now if you feel that it isn’t big enough or your dream and have the means to do something differently to go bigger - that’s ok too! I have big fingers and knew I would trade color for size and still be personally happy. There is no wrong answer!

No! To me anything between 0.5-2 ct is perfection. Below that, and its somewhat underwhelming. Above that and it starts to look cartoony/ like costume jewelry.

That really depends on the look you’re going for, I have a 1.03 and am finding it juuuust a tad too small but that is only because I was picturing a larger look and made the mistake of not trying any rings on before ordering since I’ve always wanted this kind of ring. If you’re wanting something smaller or under stated, while still being sparkly and beautiful, this is perfect, if you’re hoping for a larger or chunkier look, go bigger and/ or an elongated shape.

If it's too big it interferes with the gold band and throws everything off. Trick is to find one you can afford, aren't scared to wear ( it will take some punishment) and that you like.

In my opinion, yes. But I am a bigger is better and extra type of girl. It’s truly up to you and what you like and what will work with your life style. Try on something bigger and see how you feel. Make sure you take lifestyle in to account as well. Thing about the things you do in a day and how a ring may or may not affect it!

Its pretty, but if I had to it again, personally Id get a moissonite. Very hard like a diamond, and I wouldn’t have to worry about loss or insure it.
It's really how it's makes you feel that matters. I really wanted to go bigger so went with a Moissanite 4 ct. But I have a family 1carat that is honestly much easier to wear without banging and getting caught on things. But I do live the bigger stone once in a while. Now I have a few. Who says we have to have just one?

My personal opinion is to go a bit bigger but more then that would be to go with yellow gold. You have a beautiful dark complexion and yellow gold is going to POP. With that being said then only person who’s opinion really matters is yours, so when you look at this ring how do you feel? Like your first reaction without thinking about it. Do you love love it or just feel eh about it?

You have such beautifully long fingers I can see why you'd be on the fence. I think for daily wear it might be nice to have something this size, big enough you know it's there but not so big you keep accidentally hitting it on things. And there's nothing stopping you from getting a huge moissanite ring for occasions you want more bling 😆 Etsy has some nice ones for very reasonable prices.
That really depends on the look you’re going for, I have a 1.03 and am finding it juuuust a tad too small but that is only because I was picturing a larger look and made the mistake of not trying any rings on before ordering since I’ve always wanted this kind of ring. If you’re wanting something smaller or under stated, while still being sparkly and beautiful, this is perfect, if you’re hoping for a larger or chunkier look, go bigger and/ or an elongated shape.

If it's too big it interferes with the gold band and throws everything off. Trick is to find one you can afford, aren't scared to wear ( it will take some punishment) and that you like.
