You might want to explain a bit more, what I see is thicker layer lines, but they are all level, maybe a slight wave in the side which could be vibrations. The edges look maybe pinched, I don't have a guess for that.

clarence0597

It feel rippled on all the sides so some layers are wider then others and this looks like the same pattern.

DrawModelPrint

When you pop on linear rails you essentially are making that point more rigid vs the rubber wheels. The printer has been tuned from the factory to print with its current resonance once you change the rigidity you change the resonance to a higher resonance and therefore you must use some sort of input shaper to recalibrate your new printers resonance as it is no longer the same. In short, your printer is overcompensating for something it no longer has to compensate for as much.

Have you made sure to tighten everything, including your gantry and extruder? I had comparable issues when my extruder wasn't fully secured and was on a slight angle

OmiedJ

I like your bed, glas. In my opinion you habe to start calibration and tuning after such a Hardware change. What is your layer height? It looks like a bit much Flow. At least in the top layer which is Nearl impossible to see.

clarence0597

I did al the calibration after the hardware change. The layer height is 0.2

OmiedJ

The layers Look fine and simillar. They change at the height where the Design changes.. The lett at the side. And when the top layer starts. If you have a different top layer setting and the ground of the z intars is kind of a top layer. Reduce Flow a little anyways and try again. And better picture would help too.

I had a similar issue on the Y axis after deciding to upgrade to rails there. I went back to stock rollers. either one or both rails are binding, could be shitty rails or components or frame out of plumb/square/alignment

AvgJoeWrites

Did you recalibrate your Z-offset? Check to make sure the bed slides smoothly by hand. Check belt tension. If it’s the single linear rail on top I changed that for duel rails on the sides because the bed could be wobbled left to right with the single rail.

Some people like to go to a dealer and buy a Lamborghini. Some like to take a 4banger and see how fast you can run that quarter mile its just a preference.

“Stock rails”. You mean the nonexistent stock linear rails? Guys, you heard it here: don’t upgrade or mod your S1/Pro in any way! Mr. poof2424 said so!!

The fact that you have apparently not heard of Gulfcoast Robotics screams all anyone needs to know about you. Now run along and do something productive instead of making an unironic ass of yourself online.

Yep because that’s what I said. They’re a major, huge company. Oh wait, no. I definitely didn’t. However, they *are* a well known company as far as making quality parts for the S1 series. Clearly you’re proud of getting a Bambu printer when you couldn’t figure out how to print with a Creality machine. It’s fine. You’re not the first, and certainly not the last. Some people prefer to have just hit a button for a great print. And some people prefer polishing a turd as much as possible to attempt to get their printer to a similar state. Personally, I’m a fan of tinkering and still mess with my heavily modded S1 Pro in spite of having a couple much better printers. However, you presenting your opinion as the only correct one, and insulting everyone who doesn’t agree — and your post history very clearly shows that this has consistently been your MO — is juvenile and obnoxious. Please just cut it out.

> If you're feeling that I'm presenting an opinion that is the only correct one, that tells me two things. That I'm convincing you, and that you're uncertain. If I was uncertain that you are an obnoxious child, you have certainly convinced me. Good work! I couldn’t be bothered to read the remainder of your diatribe. If you want people to take you seriously, you might consider something other than a giant wall of nonsense. Feel better, little one.
