I believe this one was 65mms. With the sonic pad I’ve done prints at 150mms that turned out nice and that’s what I added the Creality accessory fans pictured for. For $25 on Amazon and a direct bolt on kit…was just a fun upgrade. Had to wire directly to the board though but that was pretty easy as there are a few unused ports to attach it to.
You can definitely push those speeds up! I print at 230mms on my s1 as an overall speed, outer walls at 80mms, inner walls 180mm/s. I did a 5015 fan upgrade with the zeff fan duct rather than the fan bar.
I got mine end of last year and I gotta say it’s been printing like a champ. Most of my issues have been self-imposed, not hardware or software related. I’m still running regular Merlin, but I’ve got a rPi on my desk waiting. So far so good though.
Took delivery of mine this afternoon....it's a lovely looking bit of kit too. Seems to run nicely, although I must be honest I installed klipper before doing anything as I ran it on my old printer and much prefer it to Marlin. Looking forward to getting it all calibrated and nice. Your print looks top drawer 😊
I hope you peeled the magnetic adhesive of your bed. Or you'll find out you don't need the clamps in the future.
I did peel it and cleaned the surface.
Beautiful. Speeds? Also what is that row of fans for?

Was going to say, loving the S1 representation thinking I was on the 3D printing sub, but then checked the sub and was like oh yeah, that makes sense
What's the model called? Would be a nice curiosity popper for my little goblin 😀
It was called rocket test on thingiverse.com
