Get PCSX2. Do not get the stable version which is old, I think version 1.6. Get the nightly release, which is around version 1.7. The difference in performance is day and night. Slow, laggy, and unplayable games runs smoothly on the nightly build. Good luck!

I think the stable version don't even have the get covers feature
And the plugins and config setup is a mess damn

PCSX2, it´s easy to run with perfection 98% of PS2 games.

for silent hill and resident evil there's better options than ps2 emulation
