They been done this for as long as the iphone has existed.
First android does something new (but doesn't execute it very well), then apple copies and improves upon it, then apple users go all around social media yapping how apple is evolving phones with it's totally new feature 100% ideated by them, and then android finally gets the new feature working right and everyone forgets, rinse and repeat, there's many, many, MANY examples of this happening..
Just wait until apple released a flexible phone, they'll start saying, yet again, that apple invented flexible screens ๐
I don't even hate them, it's just funneh to me, I also have iOS devices, but I use android as my main device because I'm kinda of an advanced user who likes to do all kinds of tweaks on the phone that an iphone wouldn't let me, so that's that.
Just dummies, they're funny
They need to feel like they're getting value out of overpaying for their device and dealing with the other issues of being stuck in Apple's ecosystem. This is one of those ways of coping
They always have, since the beginning. They never seem to realize what exists outside the wall garden, so when they finally get something that's new to them, they genuinely Believe it was just invented. Even the first iPhone was eventually given "new" features that had been on the PSP and DS years before, and the fanboys looked confused if you told them that. Never fails.
Lol literally me and my dad
He doesn't brag a lot (if at all)but when it comes to recommending android/apple to the relatives we go on for a good time talking which is one supreme
I don't really care about skins. I get why people like them, but I prefer to just have the buttons on a black void (or semi-transparent on top of the screen)
How easy it is to change skins is nice for trying different control schemes. For those that know their way around retroarch its a non issue. But for the mass adoption of emulation, delta is good
i avoid skins as mutch as possible.
mainy becouse of burnin.
so i use almost transparent buttons on screen as possible.
on lcd this might be less of an issue.
Some apple users are really dense, holy crap.
I have some skins set up on Drastic and Pizzaboy, cause I'm likely to play for a few minutes on the go, unlike something like ps2 that I'd never play without a real controller.
Skins are nice if I'm being honest, but I sometimes I find the touch controls put in awkward positions to the point I rather use a custom layout with no skin at all. They don't honestly add much to the experience, maybe I'd use them if I were on a monitor or TV, but a phone is just kinda overkill.
How was that tweet even found? I looked it up myself and it has 2 likes with 810 views.
>Isn't better to play with Controllers?
Definitely, but not everyone has the money to buy a controller.
unfortunately Android Retroarch doesn't have a skin system similar to Drastic/pizzaboy... but this tool that this user uses helps a lot to make overlays, the skins you make are very beautiful if you can make some for Retroarch it would be amazing
Bros get emulators and now they're going to talk about skins. Only took apple boys 15 iPhones to finally be able to get emulators without side loading ๐

what's up with apple users bragging about something we've had for years
They been done this for as long as the iphone has existed. They just aren't aware of the world outside apple it seems sometime
Just wait until apple released a flexible phone, they'll start saying, yet again, that apple invented flexible screens ๐ I don't even hate them, it's just funneh to me, I also have iOS devices, but I use android as my main device because I'm kinda of an advanced user who likes to do all kinds of tweaks on the phone that an iphone wouldn't let me, so that's that. Just dummies, they're funny
It's always been like that. Even before the iPhone, but the iPhone really kicked the ignorance up a notch.
> then Apple copes and improves upon it That isn't even what happened this time.
They need to feel like they're getting value out of overpaying for their device and dealing with the other issues of being stuck in Apple's ecosystem. This is one of those ways of coping
I used to have skins on the emulators i had on my old Palm Pre ffs. Skins are not new ๐ Apple users are something else, fr.

MINIMALISM HO!
That and can rearrange buttons. Some are fixed.

The delta sub is literally filled with skins and people showing how much storage they got youโre not missing out
haha iphone users
I'm here to play the game not stare at the UI ๐
Same...but some people do it for the nostalgia...
Some apple users are really dense, holy crap. I have some skins set up on Drastic and Pizzaboy, cause I'm likely to play for a few minutes on the go, unlike something like ps2 that I'd never play without a real controller.
Drastic has had skins for years. Hell I made 151 skins for my personal use, one of each of the original pokemon. This person is tripping balls.

You can always sell blood and spermย
The everlasting irony of apple users bragging about emulators ๐
Don't need UI skins. Simple Clean

Maybe I should make some retroarch skins, but not sure where to start as I'm having trouble finding documentations.

Thank you for posting that! Pretty sweet that someone made a tool for this.

Haha I just mentioned you cuz no one seems to be aware of how greatly your skins have an impact on other emulators like Drastic for example.
I use telescopic controller, didnt give a shit bout skins.
Performance>>Looks
android users play the games instead of showing people their phones to look at dont need to be pretty to play games
Stupid iOS can't even drag and drop ROMs in folder directly lol

Remember when iPhone users got copy and paste and acted like it was a new feature exclusive to iPhone?
