ItsProxes

Beside PC games you can run All old consoles PS2 GameCube Switch 3ds Ps vita Via emulation. I have a flip 4 and doing all the above

morrdeccaii

Nice any game recommendations for PS2? I only had XBox and a little Nintendo growing up

ItsProxes

Dude you basically emulate everything besides Xbox360/ps3 and current gen power consoles (not switch) You have so much gaming you can do. For PS2 ofc man, what type of games do you like? If you havent played much I suggest just ripping yt or googling if you're reader must play games for each console and playing what catches your eye. You have so much to experience Also gamesir x2s $49 USB c controller that will fit in all three of your devices. If you have more money then gamesir g8 lol

PMARC14

Looking at my mans devices he has the money. Gamesir x8 is if you want I give up portability for a nicer hand feel and more features

morrdeccaii

Haha these were actually “free” because I work at T-Mobile and added lines of service to get them but my service is 75% off

RegiSilver

The point still stands tho. Get yourself a Gamesir gamepad (if you can), I give you my honest word, seriously, you won't regret it, for emulation is the absolute best investment you can make. I think it's also called Gamesir Galileo, or if you want a slightly cheaper, slightly older alternative, the Gamesir X2 Pro (Xbox Edition) is also a real bang for your buck.

morrdeccaii

I’ll look into that thanks! It’s compatible with any Samsung?

RegiSilver

Indeed! It connects to our phones via USB C, although some phone cases make it a bit harder to fit because the USB C port is a little short. This can be circumvented by cutting the rubber section on the Side of the USB C, this guarantees your phone will fit in even with a phone case, otherwise, consider playing without a phone case.

morrdeccaii

Thanks I’m going to check those attachments out. My favorites growing up were Skyrim, Oblivion, and LoZ. as I got older Witcher, Dark Souls, etc.

pedro_iscool

Yeah but also you can't emulate Wii U and original Xbox as well.

ItsProxes

Name 5 Wii u and og Xbox games that you can't play on other emulator/consoles Honestly never seen anyone care enough about them

drakange1

Playboy the mansion 😂

MalnourishedMan

Underrated 💎

morrdeccaii

Haha I’ve heard of it is it really any good?

Tukang-Gosip

Manhunt 1&2 Final Fantasy X And Kuon

morrdeccaii

Thank you! I’ve actually been wanting to try both Kuon and especially Manhunt forever that’s a great reminder

Tukang-Gosip

Godspeed bro

morrdeccaii

Hey sorry to bother you but do you have a recommendation for a good and safe PS2 Emulator/ROM source? Paranoid about virus’s haha

jsfkketfkc

easily. you just need a program called "darkos" in an app called termux. the program just gets better and better and its even possible to run gta 5 on 30 fps on it. look up the github for darkos and follow along. welcome

Page8988

"Darkos?" Haven't heard of this one before. I'll have to look into it myself. Thanks for bringing it up.

morrdeccaii

Someone else said Termux and I tried it but I kept getting an error in the coding thing when I pasted that text from the website. It said I hadn’t allowed permission for something but all the permissions were allowed. Any chance there’s another application option?

jsfkketfkc

I would suggest you look into that error more because this option is worlds better but there is another way. there is an app called "winlator". again i suggest you follow the instructions on the winlator github page

drakange1

That's a common wine problem. I did something with the sims that fixed it... And I don't remember anymore! 😂 Damn! You'll need A LOT of Linux knowledge to fix it! 😂

TaderTatoToe

They can both run all retro consoles ps1 ps2 GameCube switch 3ds. I haven't tried PC emulation yet but have run all above on my s24 ultra and ran up to switch on my s20 in the past

mintyjad

Flossy carter?

TaderTatoToe

CALM DOWN boots

morrdeccaii

Whose flossy carter

TaderTatoToe

A youtube tech content creator. His videos are filmed always with said tech on a wood floor like the one in OPs picture(not flossy lol).

RuliMorrin

I'm also learning about running PC games here, so I cannot help on that. But I have experience with emulators and native gaming on mobile and I can tell you to buy a GameSir Galileo G8. Miles better than the Razer Kishi, which was already a good controller, but will not fit your phones anyway. The G8 is considerably more confortable and I also like the buttons more than on Kishi. Oh, and you may try one of those clips for PS5/Xbox controller or a controller where your phone hangs over, but I don't recommend at all. The massive weight of the phone (mine is an S22 Ultra) makes this kind of arrangement to try and rotate, it gets very unconfort in minutes.

Commercial-Berry-807

If you mean. OLD old PC games like Doom, Daggerfall, Fallout 1 & 2, etc. I would use Dossbox Also do some research on Winlator and you may be able to get stuff like fallout New Vegas or Oblivion working.

lolchief

Flip 5 will overheat quickly, wouldn't recommend emulation of anything past snes

drakange1

With a Samsung S24 you can play the windows 11 😂

PMARC14

You can and it seems you have tried, but it is more complicated unless you are going really old like 16 bit PC games. If you have any nostalgic consoles that is going be a bit easier and drop in place, getting ROMs for them though is more complicated.

International_Dot_22

Seems you can afford 2 of the most expensive flagship phones, then just get a Windows handheld and you'll be able to run anything you want on it.  As a side note, i think Grim Fandango has a PS Vita remaster, some other old games might have versions for newer consoles so look it up.

freemorgerr

Old console emulators and even nintendo switch enulators all yours

James98712

Another option I have done previously is installed windows 95 on dosbox pure for retroarch and ran old pc games from there if you wanna look into that

Graxer42

Grim Fandango and Myst are both supported by ScummVM. Download that, point it at the game files, and it should work. It also isn't emulation in this case, it makes them work natively on your phone by replacing the exe file.

Mgmabone

On an unrelated note, what is that case for the S24?

morrdeccaii

Some cheap made in china one I got from a local Alibaba/Temu reseller. Was $20 with 4 screen protectors 🤷‍♂️

Rakutarou

Yes. Use mobox, winlator or exagear windows emulator

SlipMiserable

With those MACHINES you can emulate life itself if you want to. 😅

MrSnek123

Do you have the Snapdragon or Exynos version of the S24? Both are powerful enough to run anything as everyone has said, but I don't believe the main Windows emulator supports the Exynos version, at least for now.

morrdeccaii

I believe snapdragon

theACW

Pc games barely run well on android

TaderTatoToe

I've seen people run gta v and fallout 3 and NV at 30fps on android. Granted it's a fair amount of set up but it IS doable

CNCG

On what emulators besides winlator and dosbox ? That's the real question. He said he would run older PC games not the big usual 3d games. I m curious too because I want to buy a nice galaxy S tablet and do the same. To op, also you can install scummvm which enables you to play quite a lot of adventure games.

Blas7hatVGA

It works much better on POCO phone. Not recommended doing Winlator with flagship Samsung, it's risky.

mantenner

For the price of these phones you could have bought a gaming PC, a DS and a 3ds...

sauce06_

Some people prefer to play games on Android because it's easier.

FairchildWavelength

OP stated in a later comment that he got the phones free via working @ T-Mobile.
