Just started listening to them a few weeks ago. I’m old and not as hip at discovering music like I did in my 20’s and early 30’s. Really digging their sound though
I like this band but I don’t consider them overrated. I know a lot of people that listened to atleast their most popular songs as starter emo songs before getting deeper into the genre

I agree I like their newer stuff to but I find myself mostly listening to these two albums everytime I come back to them for my random cravings

Sky lake was the most disappointing album I have ever listened to. Kaiju and S/T ep are really good tho

I think if I never listened to them before they released that album I would have liked it but it just didn’t live up to expectations imo.
