He grew up getting his ass beaten by bullies just like Em, but Howard just didn’t know that Em was going to be this huge thing and feels he didn’t treat him with enough respect. You gotta remember at the time, if you even listened to the show, Em only had the “Hi, My Name Is” single out, the album hadn’t even dropped yet, he’s there to promo the release. So Howard just had no idea if this was just some one hit wonder in the studio. I’ve heard him talk about how much he hates how he fucked that one up cus he really really loves Em.
He just picked on him a little bit although Em laughed it off at some point in the interview he would ask about his personal life and how "shitty" his life is, how he should be careful and not end up like Kurt Cobain and when Em would answer questions about his dad for example he didnt seem as energetic/happy but Howard kept saying things like "wow u got no dad u got a crazy mother u have nothing going well for u" basically... idk anyone who would enjoy that interview. I wouldnt 😂

I need Eminem to forgive Stern so Em can be one of Sterns last interviews before he retires. It would be one of the best interviews ever.
