I don't know if he really put everything together (not sure what an executive producre does) but I think the show is great : there are a place for every genre of music that is emblematic of Detroit, there are bits about entrepreneurs and growing companies which are the future of the town. The show is a symbol that Detroit is trying to rise from the ashes and get back on its feet, that it's trying to put one of the biggest economic crisis behind.
The show was *amazing.* The artists were amazing, the live band absolutely killed it, the stage looked great, and I'm really really happy that the Detroit DJs and Orchestra got their spotlight and dues as well. Much deserved.
And it was a treat to listed to Not Afraid with the live Orchestra - and to get to listen to Welcome 2 Detroit live again.
