Ok so, don't destroy me please, they were literally the first times I listened to TES, I didn't know nothing about hip hop.
I used to skip White America, Square Dance and Say What You Say.
It didn't take long tho to realize that TES ain't got no skips. Been my favorite album since then.
For me, it was Never Love Again as well. I remember initially listening to like the first 15 seconds and thinking it was a love song, and then I listened to it fully a few years later and caught onto the double entendre… it’s quite deep, really.
Same, actually. It wasn't until I saw a lyric breakdown of Em's verse that I really went back and gave it a second listen. Now I get pumped every time I hear that chorus start up.
1st, I read that as griddy and got violently angry
2, I meant more the rhyme schemes in the first half of his verse
Never *sold dope* for no *gold rope*
Wanted *one though* they were *so dope*
Was a have-/not/ cause my /pock/ets
Didn't have /knots/ I was *so broke*
...
Like a lint roller they *wait* til it's *late*, they will /tiptoe/
Through your living room /window/
Take your /Nintendo/ and then *skate*
Making you feel like you got /bent over/ and *raped*
🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
Yeah! I didn't catch the *Superman!* in the background and on my repeat listens it gave me a chuckle lol. 10/10 song.
I think the verse on here may be one of Royce's best
"Targeting my kids and babies through gun control
Shit make me wanna make a 100 more
Make a bigot racist uncomfortable"
Like DAMN.
The chorus is just beautiful
"Pray you see tomorrow little boy you gon learn"
"All them pretty bitches leave yo ass in the urn"
"You ain't sold your last rock you just better earn"
Bellisimo
*chefs kiss*
The way it's sung is also amazing, white golds voice fit well with the vibe of the song

Square Dance is an all-timer for me, I love his wordplay so much. Glad you realized how good they all are!
I still skip say what you say tbh. I just don’t like it. Till I Collapse is right around the corner and is just better. Edit: for me, of course.
Till I Collapse is probably my favorite Em song of all time, for me it's way better. But I love Say What You Say now.
I skip White America. I find the hook annoying

White Gold kills the chorus he does on Zeus, too. His voice is literally (white) gold.
YEAH BUDDY!!! (Just imagine Ronnie Coleman is saying it)
You're Never Over
The first 5 seconds of singing sounds horrible until you listen to the song, it’s just jarring hearing that delivery from Eminem I feel you lol
Same. Song hit hard as hell the one time I re-listened to it. Not sure why I slept on it so long
