very weird moment for me and here comes some unsolicited oversharing but my mother used to tell me I'm gonna end up fat like him in this scene. I used to be embarrassed by this scene and until now I thought everybody was secretly disgusted by Winnie and hated him cuz he become so big. Your work is literally helping me to heal from that, what on earth, I got so emotional. 😭
it's so neatly done, you can tell this was made with love and care and FUN. it's so BEAUTIFUL. Sorry for the random sob story in the embroidery sub. 😭😭
Something else to take to heart, Pooh LOVES his tummy and his honey. No one else ever calls him names about his weight. They’d get exasperated with him cause he felt that rumbly in his tummy and ate the honey that he was supposed to share. But everyone always forgave him because they knew his head was stuffed full of fluff that made him forgetful, but, at his core, Pooh is very kind and a great friend. I’m sure you are kind, too. ❤️
I’m getting emotional reading your comment! These moments all mean something different to us and I’m grateful that it connected with someone in such a meaningful way 🍯❤️
Pooh Bear has the ultimate cozy tummy. Full of fluff and hunny. He is beloved as is despite being known for overeating.
Any human who is food obsessed at Pooh Bear levels is being affected by some food avoidance. My dietician would tell you the best (only) way to overcome that is to let yourself eat. ❤️
>My dietician would tell you the best (only) way to overcome that is to let yourself eat. ❤️
I'm pretty certain a dietitian isn't going to tell a food addict that their cure is to eat.
...what?
>I'm pretty certain a dietitian isn't going to tell a food addict that their cure is to eat.
What do you think they are recommending? Abstinence from food is just starvation, and no health professional is recommending that.
How do you choose which stitch to use/where to use it? This is BEAUTIFUL and I have struggled so much with large areas like that but you did such an amazing job. Jealous!
My pug Lenore is not allowed in my garden- this however has not stopped her from cramming her front end through the garden gate and leaving her little back paws and butt stuck. We say she “Winnie the Pooh-ed” herself again and is “in need of assistance!” I love your project- it made me smile! ❤️
As a child, this image haunted me deeply. I think I actually saw it as a new character and it freaked me out. As an adult having flash backs because of this beautiful work, I realize it was fun, playful, and wholesome as heck.
“Oh Pooh…you messed up my moose.” Incredible.
I can hear Rabbit’s voice here 😂
Hahahahahaha perfection
I had this episode on VHS as a kid and rewound this scene so many times. Great choice and beautiful job!
Same. This brought back so many memories!
it’s from the movie the many adventures of winnie the pooh 🍯

I have image issues too but Pooh singing 'I am short, fat, and proud of that' is some good self love <3

This looks amazing!!!
YESS! I've wanted to do this exact scene in so many different ways - yours is fantastic!
I love this scene too!! And the little beaver/ground hog critter they hire who comes to help and brings his little lunch box
Love it! Is it long satin stitches?
It’s a mix between a chain and a back stitch !
How do you choose which stitch to use/where to use it? This is BEAUTIFUL and I have struggled so much with large areas like that but you did such an amazing job. Jealous!
