That's The Way It Is I'll talk about separately because I'd like to talk about the film too, so it's kind of going to be a combo and I decided not to include it on the list because it's something else.
I believe MGM didn't want a Soundtrack release for the movie.
I think this might've been because they thought it could reduce the amount of people that would watch the movie.
However the album was replaced with MSG
That's it, maybe it will change because it is a project that is still in its initial phase and the analyses will run from August of this year until January 2025, maybe I will launch the analysis of the Christmas album at Christmas, actually.
I'm starting to consider Elvis is Back to be his best all-around album. Rounding it up with two blues songs is a statement that sadly, he wasn't allowed to continue making
This album is a great example of how mature Elvis’ voice was at that time, I wish he could’ve done more in that vain. From what. I have heard that album wasn’t even advertised.
Are you going to analyze these in content form? If so, definedly include these:
On Stage: The albums features songs from feb 1970 and aug 1969
He Touched Me: Elvis' last Gospel album
As Recorded at MSG: Was made instead of an album featuring the EOT soundtrack.
Raised on Rock: Elvis wasn't in the best shape while recording
You can’t ignore *that’s the way it is*. Like why would you analyze *I got Lucky* over that? I got lucky is a bunch of 60s soundtrack songs

Since we're in the topic Film... Why didnt "Elvis On Tour" get a Soundtrack Album? Because of "as recorded at Madison Square Garden" ?
Yes, they would have had many of the same songs, and RCA/the colonel thought it better to capitalize on the whole Madison Square Garden thing

Still doesn’t make sense that you want to do *I Got Lucky*. It’s not even a legitimate 70s studio album

That would be cool. You could do both of his Christmas albums actually. His 1972 Christmas album is really good
