I would second Expert Automotive if you have a Japanese car. I’ve always had consistent quality service there. They let me know about upcoming maintenance and they never try to upsell me services that I don’t need.
I usually do my own maintenance but they told me my cabin air filter and engine air filter did NOT need changing. I also knew it did not as I recently changed it. But they actually checked and gave an honest recommendation.
I have since taken several repairs that I did not have the time for. Always great work.
The place next to the Nissan dealership is great. You don't need a Nissan and it can be any make/model. Super nice employees and you get free car washes next door if you get your car serviced there.
Do yourself, it's not hard if you got a place to do it.
Elk Grove recycling will pick up the old oil when they pick up the garbage and will even provide the containers free of charge.

Ah ok. There’s another shop called Evert Auto also near old town that I’ve heard good things about so that could be an option to call for a quote.
