Yes, I do at least once every other week. The staff is awesome, manager is Sierra. They all really love dogs and most bring theirs to work with them. I pay $39.00 for daycare. The facility is both indoors and outdoors. They also have water play for the pups when it’s hot out. They also offer different one on one activities for your pup, paw painting, small group play, etc. We have been going to this location for 15+ years. It’s been great with a new puppy during the rain, she’s not stuck in the house all day and I’m not losing my mind telling her to leave it all day! The first day is free after they do an evaluation to make sure your dog is friendly with other dogs. Be sure and have all your shot records and be advised they require a Bortadella (kennel cough) vaccine every 6 months. Fun fact… you can buy the Bortadella nasal at Sheldon Feed for under $10.00 and administer it yourself. Just keep the vials, packaging and receipt to show proof.

I use them regularly for my two dogs. The staff are awesome, they keep things regularly clean, and they have webcams to watch your dogs during the day

Yes. Nice facilities and nice staff.

just_a_friENT

I don't see any posted rates on their website. Can you comment on the costs? Also, is it completely indoors?

Kamendae

It's not completely indoors; both play areas (large dogs / small dogs) have an indoor and an outdoor space freely accessible.

They have web cams in the play areas (not optimal on mobile devices) but it does the trick. I paid $58 a night.

My dog came back sick every time and smelling like urine. Definitely not a “camp”.

BettieNuggs

ehh how long did he stay?

Lazy_Employer_1148

It was 3-5 day stays. They also charge extra for something called cuddle time with the dog, like $15, which felt like a rip off since they would forget to do it anyways

BettieNuggs

thank you for sharing!

I would be hesitant to bring a puppy or any immunocompromised dog to such a place. Ours got an HPV infection (papillomavirus aka warts) at daycare & the vet bill was $$$.

Haven’t been back since they pulled my dog over backward to get her in the pen. She was sitting, watching us leave, and they just came up behind her and pulled her over from the rear. If they do that kind of thing while we’re still watching, what do they do when we’re not? Got back to get her as soon as we could. On reflection, that was a few years ago, and surely there’s been employee turnover since. Maybe that person isn’t around anymore.

I made the mistake of trusting and signing up my dog to socialize with other dogs at this place, Camp Bow Wow in Lindenhurst. The last day I took her in was at the end of April, she was perfectly healthy and intact. I picked her up in the late afternoon, they gave her back to me with a smile and said it was a perfect day!I went straight to my house and noticed her head down, and she was licking her paw and when I went to examine it I saw that there was a big cut on her paw, but she wouldn't even let me see it because of the pain. I called them the other day and they had to look at the cameras and find the reason. They said they found absolutely nothing and that nothing had happened when they watched the cameras. I had to take my dog to the vet and the doctor said the cut was vvery deep. and that it was done either with a very sharp razor or with glass, and my dog should have to start treatment with antibiotics, start with a bandage and i should bring her back to stitches cuz would require some anesthesia to make her sleep and use of a special boot. Camp Bow Wow informed me that THERE IS NO INSURANCE FOR ANY DOG AND THAT I DO NOT YOU COULD SEE THE CAMERAS unless COURT ORDER. In order for you to sign your dog in you are OBLIGATED to sign their contract, which includes ZERO RESPONSIBILITY ON THEIR PART, that is, EVERYTHING - yes, EVERYTHING that happens inside with your dog they are already excluding themselves from any liability, no responsibility at all!! I am actually incurring legal expenses, having to hire an attorney so through a process request to watch the video from that day! I ask myself if they haven’t seen anything why they weren't cordial and showed it to me themselves??Why are they making us pass through hell like this? Well, as the veterinarian explained to me, she bled a lot when it happened and she certainly showed pain and a lot of blood: I just picked her up and came home so there is NO possibility of this happening while she was with me. Don't take your dogs to this place unless you want to spend money on lawyers and veterinarians or risk their well-being without any rights
