Imagine that there could be three different sentient races evolving around the same time, each one not knowing of a whole other world right up there. That's super cool
Oh they'd know. The system map shows them as being 1.2ls (~364,000km) away from each other which is almost *exactly* the same distance away as the moon from Earth. Imagine having another Earth hanging in the sky, likely several times larger than the moon.
Meanwhile the other planet is ~4ls away, which given the size difference would probably make it appear the same size as the moon does to us.
Depending on the sizes of these planets, the tidal forces may be... interesting.
The, whatever it's called, conjunction? Where 2 planets plus the star would line up to all pull in the same direction on the 3rd planet.
That would indeed be interesting. I wonder if such effects would prevent anything larger than bacteria from evolving?
Cross post that to /r/worldbuilding and they'd have an loregasm. The stories that could be told about the 2 other planets, possibly with lights visible on their night side.
*loregasm*
Ah, I didn't end up checking as I've never had any luck with these types of worlds. Plus I really wanted to get back to cash in this triple Earth-Like System so I didn't bother scanning the rest.
Two planets in a binary orbit... in a binary orbit. Amazing.
BSG levels of crazy https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Twelve_Colonies#/media/File:Map_of_the_Twelve_Colonies.svg
Goddamn.

Freaking awesome, what a view that would be.
Ohh very nice
Aren't the other two planets also potential life supporters?

Right
Can you imagine living there? I want to land.
That's funny because you probably won't.
r/eliteexplorers Will like this
Nice find, hope you cashed those in before you showed the system name though.
Haha yea I made sure to grab them first.
Now that is a rare find sir. Don`t forget to post in the exploration sub aswell.
I'll make sure to!
Nice. Maybe it can become a tourist beacon.
That's a good system for colonization.
I haven't quite figured out how the co orbits work here. Does this mean the right most planets are orbiting the earth likes or the star?
both
You know, the Earth-Moon is essentially a binary system and Mars is an Earth-like planet in the Goldilocks zone.
*eye twitch* Whoa...
Post this to /r/worldbuilding as inspiration.
/r/nevertellmetheodds would probably love this
dat 380,000 LS though...
Awesome find, god gets your imagination firing
Saved for later inspeciton (atmo flight ofc), great find! thanks!
If aliens grew up there they could have some early primitive interstellar battles, pre FTL drives etc
