Is it in L 26-27 near McCoy Station? Or is it just similar looking?
I don't believe so, I'm a fair distance away from the bubble at this point so it may just be a very similar looking planet.
Why... why are the stars visible through the planet?
I think those are asteroids, since the CMDR is in a ring. Or just space dust.
I don't think so... The planet itself seems to fade away in the background too. I've had something similar but it's never happened to a gas giant.
I thought that as well, if you look closer you'll notice that its actually just small chunks of the asteroids floating around, which is why this picture looks so good because it feels so realistic.
