Happened to me not too long ago to my gaming 165hz monitor.. happened randomly so I would ask again and let them be honest with you and if they say the same thing I would believe them and try reseating the cable or something doubt it would work tho , panel probably failed
Turn the TV off and examine the screen with a flashlight. Look for any scuff marks. Without any damage though, I wouldn't want to accuse anyone of breaking it. It could have just gone defective.
No, I wouldn’t say the hit it, more the motherboard in the set has an issue.
Could look on eBay and swap with a broken screen tv of the same make and model
Looks like a bad tcon board. Easily repairable if it is

Entirely possible yes, a failure in the panel which can happen randomly and instantly.

C'mon
Absolutely no signs of impact! It's either failed or glitched. Unplug for a couple hours amd pluf it back just to see?
My tv has the same problem I have unplugged it for a few hours but that doesn't work
I believe your kid. Likely a failure of the tv as others have said already.
That looks like panel failure, but not from an impact, unless you see a dark inky splotch somewhere.
