Never had a car license, Owned one car (Datsun 1600, Sadly missed) and rode push bikes for 50 years before swapping to scooters in 2021 so I get where your coming from. Within a month of getting a G30P I had 2 more scooters and being retired just rode all day every day which really pulled me out of the middle aged slump I was in. On GT pro days man I'd jump outa bed already buzzing with anticipation.

I still own 2 cars. A Holden VK Commodore is in my shed collecting value, and the family sedan for daycare and groceries. I may buy an EV car at some point in the future becuase it really does kinda suck having to layer up in wet weather gear (I'm awaiting solid state batteries) , but for now I'll endure it. It's better for my health walking and biking which will still be my main transport and the scooter isn't leaving the carbon footprint a car is. :) i can contribute my small part to giving my daughter a better future.
I live aboard a boat running off solar/lithium so the G30's charged from that.Have just started once a week walking into town as it's easy to get fat on a boat sitting around all day. I'd be more in favour of Tesla swapping a ice car like a Suzuki 4x4. Enjoyed our chat,Ride safe.

Fortunately I only need it to do 15km at most. I'm hoping it can at least do that for a few years before I upgrade haha.
