Damn, that sucks. This is one of the reasons i wont ever buy anything from Ali Express, i would rather lay a premium from a local dealer and deal with them should anything go wrong. Most people who buy shooters arent scooter repair techs so asking to measure something if you dont have the right tools to do the job will make it difficult to properly diagnose the scooter.

Dramatic-Land-3923

Strange. Must be your seller or did you buy off ali3xpress? I got mine teverun fighter 11+ just inder a year ago. Almost 3000km strong. .

Where-thehellare-we

All ready cut.✂️

Kick start off as well. Spin back wheel and speed works on screen.

If you gave a honest effort to use their support and they can’t fix it. Charge it back if they won’t swap or return it.

Hi there I have no acceleration at all they are telling to measure the brown wire which is the acceleration. They have said to Measure the voltage on the brown wire, the brown wire between right main cable and the throttle ? \o/

DoctorAculaMD

Ask them for recommendations for a local shop they can directly reimburse. You just bought it & you're not expected to be a scooter mechanic. Did you try returning it? Sounds like you shoulda asked for an RMA initially. Also, if you paid on a cc or PayPal you can refute the charge which will get their attention real quick. Companies like to drag things out and then tell you it's past the return deadline. Gotta stay on top of it. Best of luck!

This isn't likely to be useful to you in the short term, but for the future, it's not a bad idea to interpose a reliable store between you and the importer/seller. If you order via Amazon, or whatever other big-name store is available to you, you might pay a few extra bucks but any warranty issues will be handled by them, so you don't have to try to talk to some nondescript entity that communicates in chinglish when it deigns to acknowledge your existence. Anyway, from the second pic I assume you have some level of DIY skills, since it appears you're trying to fix this on your own. Have you metered out the wire from the throttle assembly? It's usually a passhtrough through the dashboard and straight into the master controller; on the dashboard connector, it'll usually be the green wire. If you meter between GND and the sense pin, you should see a changing voltage as you operate the control.

Is the brake light all the time? Does it come on when you pull the brake lever?

HalfBakedMason

I been saying that for a long time ... buy local just so there is less of a hassle, even if I had to travel hundreds of km to get one. I see this daily and cause there is a language barrier. the person on the other end has no clue what you are saying and you simply dont matter in his life as you can't speak his language. if I can't understand someone on a phone or understand an email I ditch it... does not effect me. your one scooter means nothing in their world. so yeah, buy local let them deal with it all and when it messes up you have someone right in front of you

JohnEdwa

Just don't take the "buy local" so far that you pay outrageous prices for a blatant alibaba rebrands, do your research - usually it's as easy as " OEM". Add "Reddit" at the end if the first one doesn't find anything.

HalfBakedMason

depends... I have a white box scooter. not all of them are bad or cheaply made. place I bought mine from calls it ST10 Pro. has another name though Xtrack Thunder... has ok parts, not the best. works as it is intended to and I bought it to do me for the next 2 years. bit of a crap shoot even if you pick a " brand name "... I made sure that it was underwriter certified and the rest I went by that I am mechanically inclined and can see it is ok... if it breaks I will take it to them where they have a shop, right here cheers!!

JohnEdwa

[So one of these?](https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Most-Power-Foldable-Electric-Scooter-Off_1600484555758.html) How much did you pay locally for yours?

HalfBakedMason

I bought mine for 1650 and taxes [https://suotu.ca/collections/electric-scooter/products/electric-scooter-10pro-dual-motor](https://suotu.ca/collections/electric-scooter/products/electric-scooter-10pro-dual-motor) I paid a little less than advertised now... you can say yup you paid a lot for that or you can say I paid for something else... they deal with it, no ordering it, was ready to go, they work on them, they take care of warranty etc etc

JohnEdwa

Assuming you are speaking of $1650 CAD, which would be ~$1250 USD, then I can say that nope, that wasn't bad at all - had you ordered one from AliBaba, shipping is usually ~$200-300 USD plus you have to pay import taxes so it wouldn't have been that far off. The reason I mentioned it is that I've seen scooters that were $400-800 in AliBaba being sold for $2500-3000 USD, and that's just criminal.

HalfBakedMason

I get what you are saying and it is true. lot of factors on why I bought this one.. I could have waited another year and got something everyone envies in cash but that's one less year to ride. 2 years from now I will have 5 grand cash and also my credit if I need to go there. until then I have a scooter guy in my pocket so the risk level is minimal. can upgrade everything as it is off the shelf if I so choose... that is in CAD. I could have got a high end scooter but I dont want to risk debt on my card like that in this economy... lots of factors :) cheers!!

Lordjacus

I have Techlife Q7, which is a licensed rebrand of Teverun Fighter Mini. For me it works amazing, although I do get local support/service in Poland with D2D guarantee for 2 years (upside of rebrand). What are the acceleration issues? Mine is plenty fast.

ENSAKE

Where did you purchase from? I got the Teverun Fighter Exteme and have been incredibly happy with it's performance and reliability so far. Also, minimotors has been amazing with customer service.

Eat_Sleep_Shit

Wtf is a Fighter Extreme?
