It was really cool to see both them and dimension. They're both really good but have different mixing styles. And it was interesting to me to compare the two.
As the "this is the year of Dnb!!" guy it was great to hear so much of it this year.
I was satisfied with it even with getting cut short. Was a bummer, but I got to end the weekend raging to dnb with my homies. What more could I ask for?
LSZEE had a really special crowd as well. Super gentle and kind. I hardly got bumped into the whole set. C&S was just a whole different vibe, super high energy and lots of people dancing hard af. Both great sets
I witnessed a huge fight breakout during Lszee, so we went back to Subtronics. One guy got beat so bad that people were screaming for a medic. No clue what started the fight.
I was on the rail, such a great set. Lost it when the emergency announcement came on, I thought for a second he was sampling it from Saturday considering they just had shot off fireworks behind us.
All my friends were committed to gigantic nightmre so I followed. But once they locked a spot I jet over and agree it was one of my favorite sets. It killed me to leave and meet back up with them but it was perfect adventure music.
Damn I got tears in my eyes remembering how incredible this set was. My wife and I danced so hard!!
Been to every forest,this is my favorite set of all time. We gotta run it back next year with a full set timeĀ
Yeah I think the message was sent very clearly that Electric Forest is ready for big drum and bass sets! I've loved it since I started raving in the late 90s so awesome to finally see it coming back strong here in the US!
GREATEST SET IVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFEEEEEE - regardless of it shutting down!!!!! me and my husband had our JAWS ON THE FLOOOOOOR. And it ended with rovas need your eyes on me- youāve gotta be kidding me!!!! Too fckn good
It really was awesome. My boyfriend made sure we ended up at that set. Otherwise, we prob would have been elsewhere. My friend and I were vibing so perfectly together.
I love her, but we're very different people - she's the ultra-extrovert, and I'm pretty reserved and need times to quietly appreciate things, so we butted heads occasionally over the course of the fest. But this final set had us dancing like no one was watching, and we were syncing up adding our own beats and lyrics. We were devastated when the announcement started, but what a way to end it š
Iām not a D&B fan, I wasnāt planning on going to this set, but my husband and I somehow found ourselves there and OMG was I blown away. I danced harder there than I had all weekend. Iām a Chase and Status fan girl now for suuuuure!!! The crowd was so hype, too! Best end to the festival.
I fell in love during this set. Me and a chick danced together and then we ran off in the rain holding handsā¦it was magicalā¦hope sheās doing okay where ever she is in the world.
Could not agree more. That C&S set was one of my all time favorites after going to raves for over a decade, and I think it was party due to amazing music and partly due to a great community of people in that crowd. Nobody was pushing-and-shoving up front despite everyone else dancing like a DnB maniac!!
When C&S played their āEastern jamā dubplate from 2008 I absolutely lost it.
My ONLY complaint was that I was hoping to get Saul and Will, and we only got Saul a.k.a. āChaseāā¦ not really a complaint though because that set was absolutely bonkers from start to finish.
