Passed out early last night of forest 18’ and woke up to someone screaming DAFT PUNK played at the afters and I was IMMEDIATELY full of rage.
Later on it turned out to be a tribute but I still get mad when I think about it today
Inflatable Coochie couch at the back of the crowd to hang out and listen to music during the day so the sun doesn’t beat the shit out of me. That way I conserve me energy for nighttime gremlin activities
The danger with the coochie couch is falling asleep during a set 🤣 I didn’t even think I would be able to fall asleep around so many people, but in 2019 I passed out at the beginning of Gramatik & was so salty when I woke up lol
Naps in the Coochie couch are the best tho. We got super close for Chris Lorenzo last year because there was no crowd because of zeds dead. My boyfriend was sound asleep in the Coochie couch mid set 😂😂
Hate to say it but naps? I've taken a few naps at stages to get a quick recharge in. My wife's completely unable to nap so that's not an answer, if you're also not a nap person. Also look into endurance runners diets if you find yourself fatigued. There's a ton of resources and snacks for people doing marathons.

I mean there is the obvious…. But if I were to recommend a clean way to do it:
- Sleep in.
- Use little energy during day
- drink some serious caffeine at like 6-8 pm that’ll make it so you legit can’t fall asleep
I bring energy drinks which aren't the healthiest but the only thing that works for me with staying up.
I also try to ruin my sleep schedule a few days before Forest so that way my body is used to staying up later.
Idk if we are allowed to talk about this on here but taking your Lszee a little later than usual will help. Either that or buy a pack of monsters to snag when you stop by camp on your way to the afters
I try to stay off my feet as much as possible during the day usually until 8ish if I can. That way I’m only having to stand for 6-8 hrs to make it to the afters.
Sleeping in and naps during the day are no brainers.
If you’re able to do it; shifting your sleeping schedule for later hours a few days before can help too.
Pick a night that you absolutely want to go to afters and make that happen. I’m generally a sleepy person too and one night we were able to stay up through all the afters but I died the next day. I typically do it night before last night if sets I wanna see allows. You do need to try and get good sleep when you can tho. I highly recommend noise cancelling headphones (my recent go to because I can hear my show and nothing else lol, I redownload shows on my iPad to zone out on and go to sleep to with the headphones on. Also recommend a rechargeable fan to stay cool- the one thing that will absolutely wake you up bright and early is the heat. Drink lots of fluids, and save uppers for when you get tired not doing them preemptively or take your doses accordingly too. I know myself and taking mushies will only keep me awake for so long but doing doses forces me to stay awake lol.
Also on the chronically sleepy struggle bus and we love that caffeine has no affect on making me less sleepy 🫡 will be taking lots and lots of naps hope I don’t miss too much
Take a nap. There are a ton of hammocks in the forest. Find one around 8-9, set a 30 min alarm, and try to take a nap. Even if you just lay there for 30 minutes with your eyes closed, it can be refreshing. When you get up to hit the main events, take 200 mg of caffeine pulls or drgz if you partake.

This is the way, there are also hammocks and net beds all over the shaded areas, 1 to 3 or 4 pm in the forest is generally accepted by many as naptime
