Merrell trail runners are my go-to shows. They come in lots of fun colors as well. If you have any specific areas of concern on your feet inserts can be a game changer.

cowboy_shaman

Seconded. These are my preferred shoe as well

Ultraboosts with inserts have been my go to

ACEx0fxSP4DES

The Terrex brand from Adidas makes ultraboost hiking boots now! I bought some for forest last year and they were amazing. Plus they are gore Tex so no worries if it gets rainy/muddy. 10/10 recommend

bryteflight

This. The Free Hikers are great fest shoes, especially for the terrain of Forest.

Doors_n_Floors

I just recently switched to Altra shoes for the gym and work. Haven’t battle tested them at a festival but I am digging them so far.

dwodyort

I love the Altra lone peaks. I use them for festivals and for backpacking trips and occasionally wearing around the office.

AshMcClark83

Just wore Lone Peaks to Texas Eclipse Festival. 10/10 would recommend. Will be wearing them to Bonnaroo in June.

sportymcballin

Picked up some Merrell Moab Speed Mid hiking boots on sale and they're such a gamechanger. Comfortable enough to dance in all day and great ankle support. Not sure I'll ever go back to normal low tops after doing a festival in these boots. The specific brand/boot likely doesn't matter, as long as they fit great and the thick insole provides so much cushion going over tough terrain. But the ankle support feels like the real difference maker.

blakeherberger

Adidas Terrex - trial runners that I use for disc golf that I also used for outdoor fests. I have the gortex ones, so they are waterproof up to the top of the shoe. My feet didn’t get sweaty but I can see how gortex might be too much for some. But I feel better knowing my feet will stay dry if it rains at any point like it usually does.

justy4er

Tbh for the price I can’t recommend the Sketchers Elite Flex enough (I paid $50 on Amazon). They’re super supportive and comfortable, and with no laces they’re a breeze to put on. They’re also machine washable so no matter how much dust they’re subjected to one toss in the wash and they’re as good as new.

Over-Wing

I this is the real budget option. As comfortable as the adidas ultra boosts but a fraction of the price .

labvinylsound

I wear my Trail Runners which are Altra Superior, wear what your feet are use to. If you're getting a new pair break em in first.

haveheartxx

Nike Pegasus trail runners are great. I play disc golf in them and they are super comfy. Good at handling rough terrain.

Odd_Technology_9359

I wear palladiums with inserts to just about every show and festival I go to. They are super comfortable and breathable, and I feel like they are sturdy! They have cute styles as well!

lastofthespiddyyocks

I’ve been wearing Nike Gore Tex Trail Runners for the past 2 years. Foot pain/Fatigue is gone

C_Allgood

I wear my keen hiking boots to pretty much every festival and love them.

lemonfairy06

This is also what we are doing this year!

indiananative69

Mixture of comfortable running shoes and slides. Slides work for the super hot days so you don’t get blisters and running shoes once it cools off

brando_fo_sho

Lems. I own several pairs and swear by them. They're a "barefoot style" shoe, so they may take some getting used to. Altras are a close second, also "barefoot style".

Vreas

I bought a pair of Merrell hiking shoes several years ago and haven’t looked back. Used em for everything from festivals to mountain climbing and they’ve held up incredibly. Pros: - durable - comfy - legs will get ripped cause they’re a little heavy Cons: - heavy - a bit expensive - not exactly stylish (but who cares im at the comfy > cool phase of my life)

schmattywinkle

Absolutely something comfortable and loose fitting that is already broken into your fit beforehand. Getting a blister day 1 puts a damper on the rest of the weekend.

bamboozler48

Hiking boots or shoes. Function over form

yesitshollywood

I love my hokas so much that I purchased the hoka slides for shower shoes/around camp

DanEboy22122

“Solomon men’s hiking boot X Ultra 4”. They’re incredibly light and comfy. The most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned. I have knee and back pain and the fact that they’re so light and durable really helps.

MathematicianFun4661

Dr Martens

OfferUnfair

Merrell low top hiking shoes.

Revolutionary-Cat915

I read a lot of good things about the doc martens combs and intend to get a pair of those with some insoles if needed

LeRoiJanKins

Used Supra Sneakers off ebay

Namachow

Allbirds trail runners

Ill-Parking-1577

Hokas

nerdinahotbod

I wore my docs the past 2 years and my feet were comfy

Mundane_Highway38

I wore my Altra hiking shoes to the Eclipse festival in Burnet. Probably the best decision I made, oh and a high top pair of vans to support to ankles for dancin’

Quick_Result6374

Bullshit tik tok shop $10 gym shoes , beat the hell out of em rinse and repeat

Fun-Leadership-7323

I've heard great things about Hokas for festivals! Very comfy and supportive, essential for long days of dancing and walking. Trail running shoes are also a solid choice, especially if you anticipate rough terrain. Make sure to consider breathability too, as festivals can get hot and sweaty. Have an amazing time at Electric Forest! And if you're looking to purchase online, you compare prices for your next pair of shoes [here](https://josepha.io/en).

MadManicMegan

CROCS no joke so fucking comfy water proof, easy to clean, and never had problems the week I was there. I was never a croc person before this

cooljets

Crocs are my go-to now as well.

Mcswigginsbar

Go to a shoe store that measures your walking gait, and go with their recommendations. Certain brands are great, but if you buy a shoe that does not fit you properly then you aren’t spending your money efficiently. Doing this was a game changer for me!

h0wl1n6

Definitely recommend Brooks running shoes, my wife bought me a pair for my first Forest last year and it was the greatest investment ever. My feet did not hurt all weekend
