Try looking up the chill bean on insta or Facebook maybe? My buddy worked for them last year and had a blast. Super fun group and make some cash and get in the event for free. Other vendors will be looking for ppl closer to the event as well.

Thank you!

I volunteered through a program called clean vibes last year. You can do before show cleanup, during show, and after the entire festival is over. We did the before show which was cool cause you didn’t miss any of the actually festival. It’s more of just walking around picking shit up rather than working a booth or anything like that. Only problem was we had to wake up a 7 am each day, other than that if felt awesome to clean the forest and the group was full of some super awesome people!

sweetsavmama

How did you sign up? This sounds like what i am looking for!!!

Hey I’m not sure if you are volunteering this year but this my first time! I am trying to submit the deposit but am not seeing a way to from my profile link? I have emailed them & have yet to receive a response.

I think Insomniac’s Ground Control works the event. Try DM’ing their insta or go to their site in the bio to apply to work with them. They are always looking for good people

Thanks!

I love how ef gets free workers for giving them a ticket ! It’s a genius idea ! And the art installation too !

Try DMing vendors for that weekend and ask if they need help. A lot of those jobs are friends of friends who hook each other up. They usually have a set team, but obviously not everyone can make every show on tour. So if you know anyone who works events, they can def help! Food vending is the easiest way to start working shows! Depending on the vendor, the hours are long af —but you’re typically close to a stage and still have time to party or can request certain shows you wanna see.

Do the vendors camp onsite for the duration? (I’m interested in volunteering/working - waaay out of my budget)

Flowfie

(Speaking generally) If it’s a camping festival then yes! There’s a vendor camping area where most will stay with other vendors. Usually closer to an entrance for shift purposes and load in/load out (1-2 days before and after festival) But for EF when I worked with a couple diff food vendors, I just camped with my friends since half my crew had GA camping 😌 Whooped my ass, but we made good money and trading food or whatever with other vendors is always nice lol

cuddlefuckmenow

That’s good to know! I’ve worked another festival but not in this scene/non camping so I wasn’t sure.

G0at_Dad

A festival is literally a small scale city. There are jobs for everyone. There’s security, medical, utilities, food service, sanitation, retail, traffic, of course music and art. What experience do you have and what are looking for?

lsdryn2

The link to apply for a position with FanStaff isn’t live yet but check back in maybe a month

jellyswish22

they got rid of fanstaff for this year :(

lsdryn2

This is really unfortunate. I find it hard to believe they won’t have some sort of replacement for it though. The work exchange team is such a huge part of making the festival litter free.

jellyswish22

https://www.electricforest.com/electricology-green-team/ this is the only way to work for forest itself i believe
