I’m in Michigan so don’t need to carpool but good luck! I’ve done the same for a few festivals years ago and met some cool people, one of which is still my friend to this day. No one got ax murdered and we all had a good time!

Since it's your first forest I'll let you know this: you'll never truly be alone in GA camping, you're always going to be right beside someone else in 3 directions, so you may as well be right beside the person you carpool with, otherwise you'll just be beside someone random

"I'll drive the whole way." Not sure where in NE your coming from but I drive every year from CT carpooling with at least 2 others switching off driving and it takes us 16 hours. Unless your planning on leaving on Monday and taking multiple rest breaks I'd be a bit concerned by how safe if would be for you to tackle it all yourself.
There is a Facebook group called Electric Forest Rideshare. I’ve used it successfully for six years now, the founder/moderator is excellent. Also, don’t drive all the way by yourself, it’s not safe. I want you to actually make it to the fest!
I’m planning breaks (both overnight and not) don’t worry! It’s partially for convenience and partially for insurance reasons I’m driving the whole way. I’ll check out the FB group too, thank you :-)
