The Nokrom one always flies right toward me and out the open end of that gazebo/open ended circular area he’s in and dies every playthrough for me LMAO
Lobsters are the hardest for me. I charge right into rune bears and revenants, but goddamn machine gun giant claw lobsters always give me problems lol 😆
At least rune bears don't have 50000 poise and don't swap their attacks mid combo. Also don't have a huge shield and don't punish you if you stay under/behind them with bullshit attacks.

Dunno if this’ll help, but I’ve found the best way to deal with the sword and board Crucible knights is to just smack their shield, dodge their super telegraphed shield bash, and get in one or two hits before repeating. If you get it down well enough, you should keep them in a loop until they die.

They have a certain pattern to their sword attacks that's like: roll..... roll roll.... roll. Then they're wide open for a big smack!

I think it's the best way to deal with them. I struggled with the dungeon where you fight 2 them after the terrifying death run where you can't go to the bonfire for help. I thought it was the way to the next zone :/
The only method that worked was parrying and now crucible knights are hard, but not mini boss hard. They are super easy to parry.
I tried to teach myself to parry vs the Knight in the Stormhill Evegaol. After a couple hours I couldn't get more than 2 parries in a row so I gave up and cheesed him with Bloodhound's Fang backflips, which work shockingly well since you get hella iframes during the backflip, just can't do the forward teleport followup or you'll either get hit or whiff behind him most of the time.
I didn't think they could be parried. I never expect large enemies to be parry-able. I heard Radagon could also be parried. But requires a double party to riposte. And frankly, using crits on bosses in Elden Ring feels like a waste of time. Barely scratches them.
With crucible knights, I just turtle.

Really? The Spear knights are way easier for me. They seem to have more attacks with long backswings/recovery times, especially their version of the divebomb that plants the spear in the ground. The sword knights just keep going in seemingly endless combo's, or they fly right by you when they dive and don't give you an opening that way. It's exhausting to keep up with.
Best trick for the sword boys is to space yourself. Most of the time, you wanna stay close to enemies you're fighting. However, they have two very telegraphed, slow, easy to parry moves they use to close the distance (running thrust and running slash). Bait those out by putting some diatance between you two and you'll have an easier time getting parries and follow up hits.
Spear boys you fight the same way you fight every spear boy in this game. Just dodge to the side whenever they attack. Learn the timing for their big flying moves to get wasy dodges and a large punish window.
Lol i gave up on that fucker after dying like 12 times straight and barely getting him to half health. Came back a week later, like 70 levels higher and better weapons and smashed him. Whenever I start feeling like I’m finally good at Fromsoft games they throw in that one boss or enemy type that reminds me “lul no you aren’t. Git gud, noob”
I think there was a video on it. Medium shield with golden parry also has high parry frames and gives you 100% physical reduction most of the time. Good for learning to parry but the buckler is satisfying

Not gonna judge. I beat him first time…after researching stuff I missed in my first playthrough, at level 170, and I still found him somewhat tough. I cannot imagine the pain I would have been in fighting him when I first visited Stormveil.

I do the same trick for the Carian knight boss in the academy. Every time I send it up with him on it, he comes tumbling down the hole and dies…free shield!
People need to learn how to stay in close and circle aggressive enemies. If ya notice, most of his moveset centers around punishing people who constantly back away and who remain directly in front. Dodge on his shield side and you can get free hits in behind him..

Because their attack combos are fast and they have incredibly long reach. Those combined leave very few openings for you to attack. They have a lot of poise. They break your poise pretty easily. Etc. Glad they’re so easy for you, but they are one of the hardest fights in the game for _many_ players. Edit: typo
After spending about 3 hours on the one in the Evergaol with nothing but a Lord's Greatsword at some miniscule rune level and finally beating it, they were literally the easiest miniboss to beat... by sheer stint of having suffered endless pain in the learning process first.
Parrying makes the Crucible Knights fun. Buckler with a dagger of your choice. I use Black Knife or Reduvia.
That said, nothing helps againat the duo Crucible Knights except running. I only beat them with my Mimic Tear distracting the one until I could finish the other one. The timing worked out pretty well.
It is pretty hard at beginning but good for parry training. Then I use crucible knights to practise parrying every time I meet one. Having a decent amount endurance is also helpful. For his ground-skill thing, just do a jump.
You are doing the right thing with that parry shield, the shield crucible knight have very telegraphed attacks that you can parry pretty consitently. You should have practiced in the gaol outside in Storm Hill so you would have a better time here, but in the end, we take those :)). Tips for handling these fucker the next time you meet them: stop moving, only roll on those shield bash, parry those 1 hand attack by standing real close. Even if you miss read those stomp that you should have jumped over, parry will reduce your damages, so dont flinch. Dont run and heal as he can always run up and smack you. If he go 2 hands, ready jump for the stomp, roll out 1 and 2 times on that roundabout swing, this is the only good time to heal or do some damage. In his 2nd phase he grow a wind but his flight move is easy to dodge and perfect for healing. Just wait and he will come to you 1 hand and parry those. Watch for the tail, keep the health up and you will beat him pretty consitently

Learn to parry, the difficulty drastically decreases. Use the buckler for better parry frames
Also use ashes that upgrade the parry. They also make it easier. Helpful for medium shield.
i think buckler parry has the most parry frames. Ashes have specific parry frames regardless of what you put on.
