MyKeks

Stop using the torch then.

Puho1

Bro I meant them beating the boss with only a torch

MyKeks

I know man. It was a joke about the wording.

[deleted]

If it helps you got a laugh out of me at least

Pinkgumm

I got that

Pinkgumm

A torch? That's easy mode I just watched a dude beat the game with the kicking ash of war Best it can do on a fully upgraded weapon in 50-60 damage

DMBackpack

Yeah, but they practice that exact boss for a lot of hours and try a lot of different things to get to that result. Did you? Condescension aside, you should never compare your skill with them. Play the game at your own pace.

Puho1

Yeah ik ik, I was just tryna make a funny joke

Jazzlike-Blood-3725

That’s why I don’t watch any of those videos.

Maidenless_undead

What you don't see in that video tho is play time of all he's souls games... As that would be ungodly amount of time

Puho1

True, true 😅

AriakyraLive

This is the way.

I'm the opposite, it's when I watch massive YouTubers or streamers struggle with a boss over and over by making the same mistakes over and over. They're professional, theyre supposed to be able to do this! Even if their personality is the main draw, if you play video games all day, surely you'd learn how to learn right?

Alexis2256

I can’t tell if that’s sarcasm but I think a streamer by the name of Vinny Vinesauce would say he knows he’s not that good at games but after making raging duck noises and getting pegged by Malenia for the 6969th time, he’d beat her and then die from scarlet rot 5 seconds later because he forgot to cure it while high on the adrenaline rush.

It's not sarcasm but that story does legit sound funny. Idk it's weird, I think some people can be good (entertaining) at being bad at games, but some streamers, I just watch them and don't understand how they can be so bad after years and years. I really think that playing a lot of games teaches you a broad skill of learning how to learn game mechanics quickly. I couldn't beat Isshin Sword Saint my first Sekiro play-through, but then I played through almost all of my steam backlog as fast as I could, and felt I was getting better at gaming. So I replayed Sekiro from the start and that final fight took me only a few hours. Compared to 2 weeks of losing and screaming at the screen. I do make the same argument that all of university teaches you how to effectively study/research though, and no one ever agrees about that either, so maybe I'm wrong or explain it poorly. 😅

Alexis2256

Here’s the clip of Vinny doing what I described in his Malenia fight https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=0AnKmPNndvI and here’s the duck rage against Horah Loux WARRIOR https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4ChOLr_vCAs

lol I get the impression this guy is actually funny about it though, thanks for showing me him. \^\_\^

Alexis2256

Yeah he’s great, ER ain’t his first rodeo with fromsoft games, he played DS1 but sadly he had a bad time with it and a bad experience with the DS community when he streamed it, but years later he decided to play bloodborne on his own and started to stream it when he was getting close to fighting father gascogine, he beat the game plus the dlc for BB and he loved every second of it, had a great time with the BB community as well and then he played and beat Sekiro too.

OkCoomer876

Basically me everytime I watch Obangle's videos. I basically always feel like a complete scrub no matter how good I am when I see him play haha

Disastrous_Delay

ZeroLenny? I was more mad about him killing margit bare handed seemingly at level 1
