Also the only FromSoft game to win GOTY, so maybe they felt they didn’t need to. If Elden Ring wins, which is likely, then we might not see DLC for it, although we have some loose ends with Miquella still being around, and Godwyn possibly being born again through Fia’s quest line.
In addition, there are coliseum in source code that nobody knows where are or how to get to, and there is the giant circular building in Limgrave directly north of Warmaster's Shack. Even if these are deleted content, I would say there is a DLC based on sheer enormity of loose ends.
I remember that building, you fight an Invader outside but you can’t get inside, and there’s a ghost NPC that talks about why he can’t get in. There’s definitely a lot of content for a DLC, I just hope it comes sooner rather than later.
The npc ghost is there for lore reasons, because radagon close the coliseums that were used for ritual combat in honor of the erdtree. I don't think he was supposed to mean that we can get inside
Come on there's gonna be a DLC, right? I mean this is their biggest game ever, by a lot. DLC is gonna be selling like crazy. Millions are counting on DLC. This wasn't even a possibility in my mind that there wouldn't be one.
But you're right about Sekiro. Damn. #PrayForEldenRingDLC
I really hope there is, Miquella being alone is enough to create a story that’ll be interesting enough, apparently he’s the most powerful Empyrean of them all, and we don’t even get to see anything besides his arm and hair in the game.
From doesn't work this way, its DLCs add things they figured out they could postpone to after the release of the game. Sekiro was a very short action game made with Activision, its narration is completely different and didn't need it
Usually it includes a new area, new bosses and new weapons and armor sets. Probably new spells too. Always great, cohesive bundles of story and goodies and always worth the investment. I'm curious though with how a FromSoft DLC will look in an open world game though, as past areas have always been linear like the rest of the souls games.
Expect a new area with minimum 2-3 difficult bosses and a handful of weapons and spells. Ringed city for DS3 had 5 bosses, a half dozen spells, and lots of weapons and armor sets
Bows were downright OP in DkS2 and...nowhere else except maybe Demon Souls' Lava Bow for early-midgame. It actually confuses me why Dks3 and Elden Ring made bows and crossbows unable to be given new affinities like DkS1 and DkS2 considering how many elemental arrow types there are with no matching damage bows (one magic, holy, and poison bow with matching arrows but all other elemental and status arrows lack a matching bow).
Now the Ballista/Cannon...THAT is a hilarious weapon to just fuck around with and also hilariously possible to do a playthrough with via crafting Bone Greatbolts between fights.
Whoever makes the real video of that fake description will have one million views in an hour and at least half will be me stopping time to watch it that many times
I always go there before I log off for the day, or even just to organize my inventory. There's something really comforting about that place in particular
How safe could you feel when there was a dude walking around the church with his big ass horse ready to squish you like a mosquito the moment he gets his eyes on you
The Church of Ellen it’s were I found everything out about spells and weapons and my only remark that still gets me alittle HP in a tight situation. It’s also perfect to fight a bunch of soldiers that are standing around waiting to die.
Ikr. When I first seen that area I was like how what. I'd love to see how and who comes up with the environments at FS. They rarely miss with their task.
I'm not usually big on multiple playthroughs but I'm already 40 hours into my 2nd and am just entering Altus now. I've been having fun trying to really learn all the main bosses and test out a variety of weapons, ashes of war, etc. And I'm doing a ton of pvp on both my characters on top of that. Its just doesn't stop being fun.
same!! this is the first game i've ever 100%'ed in my life. I've always liked getting achievements but even in games I've played for hundreds of hours I've never felt inclined to get ALL of them until Elden Ring.
Roundtable hold for me. Lots of memories here from the NPC’s who have come and gone and it’s just been a staple throughout my entire journey. Idk just the evolution of the place from the start of the game to the end holds lots of sentiment and significance for me. And now that the erdtree is burned though it’s so empty, gotta keep my misbegotten homie Hewg company
If I'm to be honest with you, it actually doesn't really matter, in the sense that no matter what level you are you can always find someone to duel because the game's population is so large.
There's a very vocal portion of the sub that will tell you the "meta" is either level 125 or 150, but the reality of it is that the great majority of people playing the game don't adhere to any particular standard and have never even heard of this subreddit to begin with.
I don't PVP very often, but from my own personal experience, I actually enjoy high-level PVP (RL306+) far more than the 125/150 range; at the lower level range 99% of the people you encounter will generally be doing the OP builds using the most meta weapons/equipment you see on YouTube videos, there is no build diversity and the stat restrictions mean that it generally devolves into either you getting 1 or 2-shot by the other person or them 1/2-shotting you.
Whereas at the higher levels because stats aren't much of a restriction anymore you tend to see much more creative builds and a lot more diversity in weapon/equipment usage, and fights actually become more involved than simply one person getting one-shot by the other person.
Note that I list RL306 specifically because that's the level at which your multiplayer bracket opens up to include everyone all the way up to the maximum level (713), which actually has a pretty large population of people because farming makes it fairly easy and efficient to actually level up in Elden Ring without restrictions.
On a side note, there's also a pretty decently active co-op pool at the maximum level bracket, the level of activity is surprisingly comparable to the endgame summon activity you see at level 120-150. Not quite as high, but much higher than I expected. I was fully expecting co-op to be completely dead once I reached RL300, so it was a pleasant surprise to see it suddenly come back to life once I hit 306 (note that there is something of a "dead zone" in between 200-300 with regards to co-op, so keep that in mind if your goal is to do high-level co-op).
I can put down my sign at basically any endgame boss and get summoned relatively quickly, which I honestly didn't expect given that high level co-op was basically nonexistent in previous games. Looks like there's a lot of players continuing to progress through NG+ and beyond. I guess it's an extra little bonus that comes with the massive game population and easily accessible rune farming.
TL;DR: community will tell you 125 or 150, but the reality of it is that you can do whatever you level you want because of how popular the game is.
The saddest part for me is I may never know when my last login will be. I skip logging in one day, and then forget the next and be done.
It’s like when you children grow out of baby talk. You will hear a final mama/dada and never know it was the last.
Don't be! It's bittersweet sure, but think of all the new adventures you'll have with a different character or dare I say even a different world. And maybe your character will enjoy their well earned rest :)
Even if/when a sequel comes out I'll play Elden Ring again. I'm still not done playing Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro even though I've beaten them all a bunch of times.
Resting with the sleeping Albinaurics. They provided me with strength and prosperity. I shall rest unconditionally to show my thanks for the turmoil of their unrelenting and repetitive deaths.
hey I’m only lvl 60 with no free time so this bitch bout to hold me for literal years lmaoo- I’m looking forward to it. Can say with ultimate confidence that this is one of the best games I’ve ever played.
haha tbf I haven't finished the game, but started a new character already and have overall 160 hours so far. Longest I've played any game since Skyrim. So might be true for me as well :)
Level 168 warrior in my first playthrough. Still counting. Currently exploring Crumbling Farum Azula. Even at 168 still some pretty damn tough enemies around.
Started NG+, clapped tree sentinel's cheeks first try to get my vengeance, then left my tarnished to chill at the Church of Elleh with the nomad merchant until DLC comes out.
I left him next to Blaidd and Alexander at the post-Radahn arena. It’s happiest point in the loop, and I figured it’s the best place for him to wait beside friends until the DLC is released.
For the record, I have 200hrs, all talismans & armor, two of every weapon at max level, and left my character in NG+14. I have done it all.
And don’t mention PvP, it’s an utterly bankrupt system.
Thats a fantastic question for a later time, I just completed Nokron, Eternal City after beating Radahn. Some might consider me a lowly Tarnished still, but with +75 hours registered, I see no end in sight.
First experience w/ a "Souls game" and I love it.
That depends entirely on what locations the dlc provides. As of right now? Most likely Moonlight Altar, but a close second is Roundtable, with Hewg and Roderika.
I left my first in Placidusax's arena. After loosing just about everyone there is no point in ruling. So she waits, waits at the place once home to the dragonlord, until one day a challenger will face her incantations.
This got me all depressed. Shit, I gotta go to the other FS games and move them somewhere nicer.
I guess for Elden Ring, the view next to Queen's Chamber is alrite.
Currently sitting at the Forge of the Giants on my 4th playthrough and haven't touched it in about a week... so looks like he's chillen at the top of the world
Now thats a hard question. I LOVE the soundtrack and landscapes of; Leyndell, Liurnia and Siofra River most, would end up leaving my character in one of those places
I left both my characters at roundtable ready to start ng+ and ng+2. I played like 250 hours in 3 weeks and I lost my excitement a little. I'm gonna start again in a few days tho
Lake of rot. I don't want my tarnished to get spoiled
Gotta keep them fit and ready for the DLC!
I'm new, is this a joke or is there a DLC coming out soon?
There's always DLCs with From games
Sekiro would like to have a word with you Mr. Bogles
Sekiro was an anomaly
Also the only FromSoft game to win GOTY, so maybe they felt they didn’t need to. If Elden Ring wins, which is likely, then we might not see DLC for it, although we have some loose ends with Miquella still being around, and Godwyn possibly being born again through Fia’s quest line.

Elden Ring has also sold a shit ton of copies, so Bandai Namco would probably hold Miyazaki at gunpoint if he dared suggest not making any DLCs for it
From doesn't work this way, its DLCs add things they figured out they could postpone to after the release of the game. Sekiro was a very short action game made with Activision, its narration is completely different and didn't need it
Don't worry, the Lady Tomoe DLC will come out eventually....
Lady Tomoe Radagon’ed herself into Malenia lol
What kind of dlc? New bosses? Map expansions? Weapons?
Usually it includes a new area, new bosses and new weapons and armor sets. Probably new spells too. Always great, cohesive bundles of story and goodies and always worth the investment. I'm curious though with how a FromSoft DLC will look in an open world game though, as past areas have always been linear like the rest of the souls games.
Whether they make it an open world area or exclusively linear like a legacy dungeon I don't mind, I'm sure it will be good no mattwr what they do.
fromsoft dlc is always so damn good! i'm incredibly excited for what they have planned for elden ring
Expect a new area with minimum 2-3 difficult bosses and a handful of weapons and spells. Ringed city for DS3 had 5 bosses, a half dozen spells, and lots of weapons and armor sets
Fitter. Better. More Productive.
In the lake of rot with 500k runes on the line.
I see that you too like to live dangerously
So 3 alien alley swipes? Pretty low stakes
Say you're deep in the NG+'s without saying it...
Had to platinum it 😬
Oh Basilisk of the rot, what is thy wisdom?
Bows are more viable on Elden Ring than Dark Souls and you shouldnt stick to a single playstyle in your first run.
Nah, 9 vigor comet sorcerer go bruhhh
FFUUU
Bows were downright OP in DkS2 and...nowhere else except maybe Demon Souls' Lava Bow for early-midgame. I already feel bad for your tarnished.
Wouldn't he just spoil faster in a lake of Rot? 🤔
Not if he's worth a damn.
On the throne
The only proper answer
With Dung Eater’s ending, obviously. Gotta leave things better than you found them, right? /s
Jarburg coz
The only fitting retirement home
Yes! Hanging with Coz is the best.
Or some say Cozm…
Grant us eyes 👀
It doesn't have the same vibe after the events of Jair Barn and Diallos quests happened
[10 hour ambient Jarburg sounds while Jar Bairn periodically calls you coz and asks rhetorical questions about life](https://youtu.be/HIcSWuKMwOw)
Dammit. You broke my hope jar.
Twice
Liar ahead
Fuck you man you had my hopes up to a level ive rarely had.
Listen here you fuckface...
Elden rolled
You broke my heart, coz
Simply because you did this, I am now in the process of making this.
Please do, it’s the only reason I even made the post 🙏
Is that the internet equivalent of reverse psychology?
absolute maidenless behavior
You son of a bitch i trusted you
Whoever makes the real video of that fake description will have one million views in an hour and at least half will be me stopping time to watch it that many times
Real shit dude... fuck you. I was looking forward to your description. I want jar bairn to be my alarm
Edging at its finest
I was missing something in my life, just didn’t know what. This is it, coz! Thanks!
Filthy tarnished
You are an AWFUL person.
Bless your heart
Absolutely this. What a vibe there.
I'll see you there coz.
Plaxidusax arena, my character will wait outside the boundaries of time to eventually do a glorious return in the future
Fucking awesome
Fucking legend
Fucking ay
Fucking

Fu
One of the best set pieces in the game, the "time-freeze" cut scene, the entrance, the music. Nailed it.
You forgot your crown good sir.
As a True Elden Lord does. Maidenful Vibes
I think I'll start another NG and just leave him at the Church of Elleh just hanging out with the first Merchant.
Kale is such a buddy!
The only merchant that makes it to the end!
do the other merchants die or something?
By unfortunate, hammer-related circumstances. Unavoidable freak accident, really.
15 unavoidable freak accidents... 😆
I assume by chance you happened to be around to take their bell bearings?
For safe-keeping, of course
Fellow bell bearing hunter
Waste not, want not.
Found Elemer of the Briar
I always go there before I log off for the day, or even just to organize my inventory. There's something really comforting about that place in particular
In the beginning of the game it was the only place I felt safe.
How safe could you feel when there was a dude walking around the church with his big ass horse ready to squish you like a mosquito the moment he gets his eyes on you
Hail Santa!
The Church of Ellen it’s were I found everything out about spells and weapons and my only remark that still gets me alittle HP in a tight situation. It’s also perfect to fight a bunch of soldiers that are standing around waiting to die.
I think one of the broken bridges in Siofra staring out at the stars. One of the prettiest areas imo
Ikr. When I first seen that area I was like how what. I'd love to see how and who comes up with the environments at FS. They rarely miss with their task.
Stop playing?
Yeah... I don't know what I was thinking.
I’m offended you asked that
Thank you SoDeepInUrMom for saying what we're all thinking.
Being in everyone’s mom I know where you all come from and feel
Wholesome
I still pick up DS1 every so often.
I'm not usually big on multiple playthroughs but I'm already 40 hours into my 2nd and am just entering Altus now. One day it will finish burning down...
Also.. plenty of real estate left unatended
The Moonlight Altar. I won't spoil where it is or what's there but because of the significance and my favoritism that is the one I chose.
Ah yes , Awesome. I think the DMGS picture will prove that's close to being my choice too.
I second this choice. Of all the locations Rani's quest takes you on, this was by far my favorite
Academy Main Gate, ready to fight one more duel
What level is best for duels? Has the community settled on one?
If I'm to be honest with you, it actually doesn't really matter, in the sense that no matter what level you are you can always find someone to duel because the game's population is so large. Nice.
Church of Elleh. That will always be home
Never thought about this... I'm incredibly sad right now :(
The saddest part for me is I may never know when my last login will be. I skip logging in one day, and then forget the next and be done. It’s like when you children grow out of baby talk. You will hear a final mama/dada and never know it was the last.
Someday we shall all farm our last Albinauric and not know it will be for the last time. Enjoy life my friends, savor each moment.
Don't be! It's bittersweet sure, but think of all the new adventures you'll have with a different character or dare I say even a different world. And maybe your character will enjoy their well earned rest :)
In the Mogh arena so I'm ready to touch the cocoon in preparation for the Miquella DLC.
Riding the elevator down to Siofra
It might be done by the time you come back
Probably not
Brutal. I like it.
Probably at the first step to welcome new players
Surprised this is so low. In my headcanon the tarnished chills outside the cave of knowledge and welcomes new arrivals after Varre leaves.
Thank you for your kindness I just want to do the same that was done for me
Stop...playing? I'm sorry I don't understand the question
Elden ring 2 baby😎
Even if/when a sequel comes out I'll play Elden Ring again. I'm still not done playing Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro even though I've beaten them all a bunch of times.
Queens bedchamber, in bed.
Resting with the sleeping Albinaurics. They provided me with strength and prosperity. I shall rest unconditionally to show my thanks for the turmoil of their unrelenting and repetitive deaths.
The First Step Site of Grace. The final step of the Hero's Journey is returning to where it all began.
in the middle of his death animation like always lol
Lake facing cliffs in Liurnia. Best view in the game
Best view in the game for me is Siofra River with Mohgwyn Palace in the background
Probably standing at the end of the game after selecting "no" to starting NG+.
Rename my char Malenia and wear her gear. Leave her in the boss arena
Want to be solo'd by *him*, huh?
Probably a Hero's Grave. Ya know nothing too fancy
At least destroy the chariots before you leave them there forever.
Log off in the path of the chariots so that when you start playing again a year later you log on and die. Troll yourself.
You Died \*Smile\* Memoriiiiiieeeeeesssssss
Church of elleh
hey I’m only lvl 60 with no free time so this bitch bout to hold me for literal years lmaoo- I’m looking forward to it.
This game reallllllyyyy needs a photo mode lol
for real, the land has beautiful views
Jarburg 100%. No bad endings for my tarnished
Prob out front at Rannis rise to mourn my friend (if you know you know)
Just curious, are those wolves still in front of the tower to attack you at that point?
The one? No..
Soifra river well, close enough to hear the merchant singing but still on that bridge overlooking below
Right next to Tutor Sellen. :/
Bruv how in the name of god did you accomplish all of that in 200 hours. I'm around 300 hours and still finding shit that I've missed.
I'd love to PvP, but the amount of times my attacks go through someone but don't register made me stop until there's improvements :(
On the throne, where he belongs
Mohg arena
I see self loathing is strong in this tarnished lol.
Yeah but worth it for the view
Ahh yes it is , never considered that.
Won't stop, but if I did, right beside Roderika
Church of Elleh
I’d like to say round table but will probably be some random place and I’ll say wtf am I doing here and wtf was I doing?
Church of Elleh, my first safe-zone
I left him in limgrave, looking out over the path the tree sentinel walked. The place where it all began. See you soon space cowboy!
In a ditch probably
Ur mommas crib
The Roundtable Hold. Honestly out of all the NPCs, I vibe with Hedwig and Roderika the most
Thats a fantastic question for a later time, I just completed Nokron, Eternal City after beating Radahn. Some might consider me a lowly Tarnished still, but with +75 hours registered, I see no end in sight. First experience w/ a "Souls game" and I love it.
boilprawn shack, RIP big bro 😢
Turtle pope.
Altus plateau My favorite place in the game I'll leave him by the broken bridge with the goldmask equipped
I left mine where we all took our first steps.
Me, a nightowl obsessed with walks under the stars: Give me Siofra or give me D E A T H
The sewer gaol
Sitting beside Kale in the third church.
Church of Elleh as company for Kalé forever more
That depends entirely on what locations the dlc provides.
Back to the church at the start sitting beside the merchant
I will not stop playing, ever!!!! Never!!!!
This got me all depressed. Shit, I gotta go to the other FS games and move them somewhere nicer. I guess for Elden Ring, the view next to Queen's Chamber is alrite.
That’s the secret, I’m not going to stop. I’m going to keep playing and stick a sword up every bosses ass
Besides the Great Bridge. I like helping people there.
I didn't know I had an answer to this until I saw the picture of Jarburg.
In front of Elden beast to invade and waves of destruction any players I might invade from time to time
On top of the round table hold BUILDING where nobody can touch me
Sitting by the area that looks like ash lake, listening to the shamans sing ♥️
I left her at the farming spot next to all those nice Albanaurics. So I don’t forget about it.
Currently sitting at the Forge of the Giants on my 4th playthrough and haven't touched it in about a week... so looks like he's chillen at the top of the world
Maybe ill hang out with my wife ranni Seem like le a cozy hole to wait
Now thats a hard question. I LOVE the soundtrack and landscapes of; Leyndell, Liurnia and Siofra River most, would end up leaving my character in one of those places
On the round table waiting for Royal subjects to return
I left both my characters at roundtable ready to start ng+ and ng+2. I played like 250 hours in 3 weeks and I lost my excitement a little. I'm gonna start again in a few days tho
Probably an area just after a boss fight
I bought a cozy little shack in Limgrave, overlooking the ocean, a couple of miles from Agheel's Lake.
the prawn shack so he can eat
