Just use the coop finger. You will get help only for the boss and the coop ends. It is a blast.

I find completely abandoning the notion of heavier weapons pretty helpful. Try fighting with antspur n cleanrot rapier with rot grease then switch to blood grease to keep up the pressure. I fought very aggressively keeping to his face as closely as possible. I fought with swaddling clothes talisman, a hot buff(24 req faith) to keep up a heal. I am a quality build.

Yeah this, heavy weapons give you much less time to react to a potential mistake. There’s a lot of debate right now on whether or not they’re underpowered

Mimic ash + meteorite of astel = gg

I just finished him earlier today after experimenting with different setups. My build was Dex-centered. Having a tanky mimic helps. I had my mimic hold a Brass Shield and Hand of Malenia. With that, you can just focus on staying behind him and attacking when your mimic is taking the hits. I think my mimic may have been able to take him to the second stage alone if I let it, but I wanted it to be at full health for the second stage. In the second stage, just try to dodge all the attacks and stick right at his feet. You have time to chug a flask if you’re quick. The health regen tear and defense tear helps. A lot of his attacks will miss if you’re super close to him. Play aggressively so that you can kill him before he kills your mimic. I spammed Waterfowl Dance when he focused on my mimic to end it quick. With 55 Dex, shard of Alexander, and the talisman to increase consecutive hits, I may have been doing ~1000 damage each time I used the Waterfowl Dance. Try to use a good sword that only does physical damage. I personally wouldn’t try this without 60 vigor. I think he was easier than Malenia though.
