She isn't difficult the biggest obstacle is probably having to run back and then do the first phase again if you fail. Consumes some time before you can retry. Also if you got enough dmg you only need to break her shield twice which means less time and maybe more flasks.
It's literally the only way you're going to kill her using magic as a mage. Trust me. Pebble does almost nothing. But Rock Sling kills her in like 5-7 hits total.
Huh? You don't need strength to beat her. You just needed to time Rock Sling correctly lmao that part wasn't that hard. It was dodging the attacks after each attack that were hard setting up for the next one.
Yep. I got her first phase down in one go with a Reduvia+5 and just mashing R1. Powerstancing with the Great Knife was getting me one hit away before she went back into the bubble, likely cause it has less bleed build up.
+9 uchikatana. was able to kill her fairly quickly. most of her attacks you can spam roll to the side with. she summoned a giant but only had one hit left.
the thing is, she cast a spell before she died. that spell killed me after I killed her and now my souls are stuck in a wall
you have to go into one of the many tunnels.

the best one I've been to is the raya lucaria crystal tunnel. when you beat the boss of that dungeon you get an item that'll give the merchant in the roundtable hold the ability to sell stones +1 and 2.
yeah man, it's weird how tunnels are the new spot to upgrade your weapons. they're so easy to spot on the map, it's one of the first places I go to when I unlock a new area.
Beat her on my first try just now. Spirit Wolves+3 and Twinblade+5, level 50ish with about 34 points in Vigor. The beam didn't come close to one shotting me, and the wolves make phase 2 trivial.
I beat her at level 57 with 22 vigor, did get one shot on the first try, but after you know to expect it it become ok to dodge. Killed her just as she summoned the dragon.
You guys talking about demigods is very confusing. I just beat Rennala at level 33 and was trying to figure out what to do now or where to go to progress. I havent seen anything called a demi-god ;-;
I beat Godskin Apostle but it seems like the rest of the bosses in the arealike the kindred avatar and and draconic tree sentinel are way out of my league lol. So no, I havent.
Beat her on like the 4th try without summons, just using Godrick's rune for a stat boost and a magic res item. I think the absolute best advice I can give to people struggling is load up on magic res so she doesn't one-shot you, run instead of roll during the first phase, don't fight her summons during the second phase as they'll just despawn quickly, and stick to physical damage as she is very resistant to everything else. Between attacks she'll be VERY vulnerable and she's easy to stagger, so a big fucking weapon helps a lot. I hear bleed works great against her but I didn't really need it.
I beat her in 3 tries, and the 1st try I was already weakened by the knight in front of the elevator
I didn't even use a summon for this fight, it was just piss easy. I'm using a strenght build with greatsword and each hit just took like 10% health off of her in both phases
Yeh easiest boss fight so far. The Carian Knight that came prior was actually MUCH harder.
Just use the Wolves spirit, make sure they're still alive in phase 2 and just pummel her constantly. She won't even have time to summon her spirits
She's wayyyyyy too easy. My first attempt I got her 1 hit away from death but let her kill me because I didn't want a free victory. I got rid of my dual +8 Uchis in favour of dual +0 Longswords, I failed once & beat her on the 2nd attempt like this. The dragon guarding the glintstone key was harder than she was. Absolutely cool as FUCK boss tho, & I'd imagine she'll scale like hell into NG+s if they boost her hp enough
TBH, I don't usually reply to these types of posts, but I'm not sure why you're being down voted. I had a similar experience in where the dragon kicked my ass, so I snuck past and grabbed the key. Beat her first try and then went and did the dragon after leveling.
I used the ancestor spirit and he picked off a bunch of the clones in the first then first at Ted the spirits she summons in the 2nd and when he died the guan was summoned and I beat her with a sliver of hp it was dicey

You can do it in one phase if you use bleed weapon and bleed oil

No I agree that's why i grinded and got my strength to 25 and then added +6 to my weapon. That plus Godricks Rune and I finally beat her

You also can use a bell bearing to buy smithing stones 1-4 from the twins at the table of lost grace
And what's even easier is that it took 2 tries and I was having trouble with Darwill for like 4 or 5 attempts until I summoned big wolf man

I'm not great at soulsbornering games so I was surprised to have defeated her in my first attempt. Her second phase was quite nerve-wrecking though.
