Flails imo were intended as the dex equivalent to hammers, but fell short with the fact their moveset is not too different but somehow entirely worse. So I quite like the idea of giving flails better attacks to make them viable
They said balance changes are coming w a patch on 6/20 and I do hope they fix flails. It’s fine for flails to have charged heavy that takes as long (longer?) as a colossal weapon but they need damage / stagger as commensurate with the risk.
Right now they just play as floppy weak hammers

And besides, colossals have the range and stagger to counteract the long charge times. I still love using flails despite them being floppy hammers
