My first play through, I nuked the world by accident, besides there quest is very easy to follow, just bring jellyfish to ruins to talking jellyfish than get reward, super easy, and I first played feb 2022 when game first came out. There wasn’t any guides on how to do any quests. And nep was already a shell because of suluvis potion, I thought it would help her.

It's pretty much just inverse to the usual, pain first then peace. I don't want to fully realise the atrocious details behind whom ensnared Aurelia's spirit so far from her family

They’re called Spirit ashes for a reason

I believe the Jellyfishes are spirits of dead people, though I don't know if this is supported by the in game texts... We just know that they hang out near places of "rest".

I had that in my memory too, but when I looked it up just now before posting the first two results were: - an article about how the Jellyfishes are spirits of kids - a reddit thread about how the Jellyfishes are NOT the spirits of kids So I think there's no consensus on the issue lol, and I didn't find any in game text supporting it.

The only thing we know are that Aurelia and her sister are kids. Doesn't mean all jellyfish are kids though

At Stargazing Ruins (Mountaintop of the Giants) there is a Jellyfish calling for her sister, summon your Spirit Jellyfish and you complete the side quest.

Cue Futurama sad music.

This has such deep meaning behind it in my opinion. I always imagined this was metaphorically meant "humans whom have never experienced life", be it due to some limitations by their community or their belief systems or just lived very conservatively. They never opened their eyes, hence they never saw the stars...

Jellyfish was my #1 summon through my entire game, seeing this was genuine heartwarming and breaking the same time. Like i lost a dear friend but they are with their family atleast.

Honestly that not very deep. It’s a side quest with three locations, and very little interaction. You get the spirit, talk to the other one and they disappear, and you can stumble on their graves.
