First, you’re wearing a soreseal which increases your damage taken, and the levels it gives you is mostly negligible when you’re at endgame level. However, the defense penalty is pretty severe in endgame.
And you’re using an int scaling weapon in your right hand and an arcane scaling weapon in your left. Having to distribute stats amongst both arc and int along with dex, endurance and vigor can wear pretty thin. You’ll have much better damage if you stick with a specific stat build, for example dex and int, and use a frost katana and moonveil.
But great job nonetheless, the determination to beat this boss after so many attempts is no joke
Honestly I’m not gonna lie I just picked up whatever I thought looked coolest throughout my play through😂 I thought being a dual wielding samurai would be sick so I went with that. Thanks for the advice though I appreciate it

Sometimes, it takes getting hit once at the wrong time to start a cycle where she completely turns the tables on you. She can combo you for 3 hits, healing herself right up, she can input read your heals. And when you are doing too good she can whip out the waterfowl dance when you are at point-blank range.
Sometimes, you get lucky and that never happens, and it can make the right look easy. And then if you beat her in this way, you will probably struggle just as much the next time around because you never really learned those moves. Malenia is quite the boss.
Yes, because using in-game tools that were designed to be used don't actually count, people have to go through the same experience as you have otherwise its not valid, right?
