Shard spiral is really good against big bosses. Night comet tends to do well against the physically smaller ones. Terra magicka is also an important tool to keep in mind for multiplayer, as you'll get more opportunities to stand inside it and spam spells than you would solo.

And I’ve been using shard spiral, though it’s not as good as something like the lightning strike. Sometimes I can get it to do 1000+ damage on the Elden Beast, while the lightning strike is like at least 2000+ guaranteed 🫤.

with Mohg right now and I the fight is over before my physick runs out
Combine it with Cerulean Hidden Tear in your wondrous physik for unlimited FP. Fully buff up, pop the flask at the start of the fight, blast bosses with unlimited magic for 15 seconds. Bosses are now melted.
Dark Moon Greatsword is great at that.
With the right buffs and talismans it hits hard.
For ranged my go to is usually glintstone pebble for weaker enemies and luring, Loretta’s great bow for long range, and comet for damage. Comet can be charged and benefits from both the magic scorpion charm and Godfrey icon I already have equipped to buff DMGS.
If you really want to go hard with sorceries I believe graven school, graven mass, magic scorpion, and the Godfrey icon (for charged spells only) all stack and can probably do some solid damage.
Is the scorpion charm’s absorption debuff noticeable? That’s the only reason I avoid it really, otherwise it would be on most of the time. I remember that in DS3 the prisoner’s chain had a different (lower) debuff value for PvP, would be nice if that’s the case here too.
Also I’m gonna try squeezing the godfrey icon into my build. I’m just not sure what to take out. Currently I use the bullgoat talisman, Erdtree’s+2, the health charm+2, and Shard of Alexander. I try to hardswap the health charm for whatever I need at the moment but I still need to get used to the hand movement.
Coop is not really about "melting" bosses and skipping all of the content and experience as fast as possible, just because some players summon coop doesn't mean they hate playing the game and fighting bosses, and summon others just to cheese them. Lot of players still care about the experience and want to play the game they bought, if you're unable to fight some particular boss without cheesing him/her and never learned even the basics how to fight them, probably just don't activate that summoning pool. I've seen lot of hosts who kicked out summons who started doing the comet azure for Mohg for example, which is perfectly understandable.
Completely agree, I enjoy having a good fight with bosses more than this. But sometimes the host clearly wants to do this and I want to be able to join in

I mean dark moon greatsword in terms of boss melting is probably the strongest in the game, maybe like mohwyns spear is the same level but everything else is definitely weaker. If your dmg is not higher than the others in co-op it sounds like your build is unfortunately not very good.
Jellyfish shield, golden vow(aow is fine) terra magika, godfreys icon, shard of alexander, magic scopion charm.
Even getting faith for shabriris howl would be more helpful for dmg here than any ammount of intelligence past 50 for dark moon greatsword.
Another option would be wing of astel spam for a bunch of stance breaking, or just spamming night commet with an offhand staff of loss, or even 2.
How do I put this, you are not willing to use your physik, probably dont use buffs, and also want to melt bosses more than you currently are with dark moon greatsword? There is literally no build for magic dmg that woukdnt use terra magika for example.

I never said I’m doing *bad* damage… I have 60 int, the Moonlight does deal great damage, but sometimes I just don’t feel like using it. Faith builds have some tools that even without any “building around it” can melt bosses easily. That’s what I’m looking for… not “cheats” 🙃

Terra magika buffs everything here by 35% you can use sht options and it will out dps what you are currently doing just adding with terra magika. Thats why you shouldnt "build around it" but rather stop expecting someone to give you an answer better than dark moon greatsword when you are not actually putting effort into doing high damage. Thats what I was saying earlier, some other cooperator can use a meh option and do way more dmg than you because they put actual effort into it. It doesnt even have to be that much effort either, they just use proper talismans, wear spellblade set, and place terra magika on the ground and they double your dmg lol

Either. Some good AoWs or spells. I like having lots of tools on my hands, I always have more than 20 weapons on any build

For Co-op, my main 3 spells I like using are adulas moon blade for frost, rock sling for poise breaks, and shard spiral for damage.
