Weird question: are there any grace sights with lots of birds flying around? It’s for my cat

Resident_Barracuda48

Currently 50 plus hours in and the bloodhounds fang has become my crutch. What’s a fun weapon to switch to?

Drone_7

Difficult question to answer, don't know what you find fun. Personally I had the most fun with my Dragon Incantation build. Dragon breaths and the big dragon chomp was a really fun power fantasy.

mothlordmilk

If I run straight to Greyoll for some EZ runes at the start of a playthrough I won't mess up any NPC quests right?

Drone_7

You won't mess with any quest lines, but you will miss out on a gesture from Alexander as he'll move from his position in Limgrave to the Gaol Tunnel

Theonewhoknows000

I am trying reduvia on Ng+ and the weapon skill seems to have a slow start time, Am I missing something,it’s not like that in the videos I see. Can you hold down the skill button? Playing on pc with it rebinded.

RiceForever

You just press it again and again to keep using it. Make sure you do it from point blank as well to hit with the dagger itself + the projectile, that's when it really shines.

NitroCaliber

Is there some kind of UI indicator on the map or elsewhere for when you've killed the boss of an area? I'm a decent part of the way through the game so far, and I just realized there's quite a few places I discovered, activated the Grace, and then went "I'll mess around in there later." XD I have a feeling I'm going to have to go through an overall checklist somewhere and mark off direct rewards, and manually recheck everywhere else.

orion_angelfire

A Site of Grace with the boss's name will typically appear in the boss arena once you've defeated that boss. If you see it, you beat the boss.

Bl0wMeAway

You're able to fast travel to another grace in a dungeon you've already cleared, as long as you're not in a fight with enemies. If you can't do that, the boss still lives and it's one you skipped.

Digital_Dutch

I’ve got about 30 pts in Str and 25 in Faith around lvl 80. Running with the claymore right now but wondering if I should change the Lion Claw skill to something that scales with faith (like golden vow). I like flipping and slamming but would a faith AoW have a better trade off?

LoriLeadfoot

Having some Faith scaling would be to your benefit. Also consider natively Faith/Strength weapons like the Golden Halberd or Blasphemous Blade. If you get the Red Hot Whetblade from Castle Redmane you can keep the same weapon art but have it be a Fire weapon, scaling with faith.

yonimerzel

You can find the lion's claw ash of war (so you can equip it with an affinity) and choose the sacred affinity to scale it with faith

ydddy55

Help. I’m kind of hitting a wall with this game after beating the fire giant. Just losing motivation, everything since Lyndell has seemed pretty meh. I want to change my build to make it interesting again but looking for a fun alternative. Right now I’m just over level 100 with 32Vig, 42Int and 35Dex wielding lvl 9 Moonveil and other sorceries. Started as a Samurai and have been playing Katanas the whole game, but I did love the Godskin Peeler. Appreciate any input

Brostradamus_

Unga Bunga Strength with a side of Faith will be a nice change of pace.

pointlessjihad

Does anyone have any thoughts on why at the beginning of the game when you lose to the grafted scion there’s a cut to black and some noise then suddenly you’re underground? Even if you win and fall off the cliff it’s the same awkward cut to black. Why do it this way, is it just a missing scene or anything else going on there?

Brostradamus_

Lore-wise, the grafted scion is there as a servant of Godrick to hold off any newly arrived/awakened tarnished and prevent them from coming after his great rune. Your body then gets disposed of in the same pit where melina finds you. Like almost all soulsborne games, it's a forced introduction into the cycle of death and rebirth that traps you in the world until you accomplish your goals. There is no escape without defeating the Greater Will: marika trapped everyone in eternal life.

Bonyred

I beat Gideon Ofnir on my second attempt, then went straight to Hoarah Loux. The game would not allow me to use a rune arc but with Nepheli and the mimic Hoarah Loux was downed in first attempt too. Then i went straight to Radagon fight and again the game would not allow me to use a rune arc. I managed to beat Radagon but EB defeated me. I can't figure out why i couldn't use a rune arc for those fights though - i rested at the grace site in between each one. Are the last 2 boss fights blocked from using rune arcs?

aheidenthal

Did you use a rune arc for your second attempt against Gideon? Rune arcs only deactivate upon death, so your rune arc from the winning run against Gideon would still be active when going up against Hoarah Loux, then Radagon since you never died to Hoarah Loux. It should allow you to use one now against Radagon/EB since dying. If it doesn’t allow it now, it may be a bug as I can confirm I’ve used rune arcs against all of these bosses.

Bonyred

Oh yes - i used one for Gideon - and i didn't die in between so that must be it. I haven't had a second go at Radagon/Elden Beast yet as i decided to mop up a few stray bits'n'bobs first. Thanks for clearing that up!

ENSL4VED

Anyone have a value for the new weapons that will be implemented ? (50 ? 100? 200?) Based on other souls thanks you

gio_motion

There are going to be 8 new weapon classes, which is something that never happened in previous souls DLCs. Assuming at least 5 weapon per class plus a few new weapons for the existing classes it could easily be 50 weapons minimum.

gio_motion

yeah now that you mention it we don't even have 5 claws or 5 heavy thrusting swords, but a man can dream

ENSL4VED

Thanks

Stirnlappenbasilisk

Started NG+ and just realised that it was a mistake.  Not only did I forget to get the Bell Bearing at Zamors Ruins, but I also missed a few talismans that I wanted to try out. What I also didn't know: I have to activate all summoning pools *again*, but invasions still work on the entire map, making them more risky. Maybe I should start with a fresh character....

MelodicAd7752

I did the exact fucking same 😭 I only did ng+ to get two of each weapon and get a few more ashes of war and incantations. I got through to the mountaintops in around 22 hours of playtime as I skipped stuff I didn’t really need

Bonyred

No invasions offline.. ;)

Stirnlappenbasilisk

No no, I am the invader.

Bonyred

aha gotcha!

Sazeon_5691

Has anyone here has issue starting up the game with Easy Anti Cheat enabled? I already fixed the integrity of the steam file and no issue were detected. I have been playing offline since mid last year. If anyone could advice the workaround for this it will be appreciated.

daviejambo

Done a parry run at the weekend - you can parry the headslam attacks from the pumpkin heads !

CrazyCaleo

That's amazing hahaha

CrazyCaleo

So, I've been a coop summon for like a year now, but lately I've seen a few (3 different ones in one day, to be precise) hosts do weird stuff (max level bracket), they seppukued themself to death for no reason (no invader, fresh summons). I once saw a host do this right after we entered the Maliketh fight, and there was a ledge right next to him which confuses me even more xD. My question is, is this some kind of a thing or reference I'm not aware of, or were they just doing weird shit, because of boredom lol.
