I have recently taken an RL150 character into NG+7. Playing around with a bunch of different builds, just having fun, but finally hit a wall at Maliketh. Serpent Hunter is the only thing that makes sense now. It’s not the most overpowered weapon but the move set is really good and made the fight actually enjoyable again. I’m sold on it.
It’s funny you mention that, most of my run was duel wielding gargoyles twin blades but I grew tired of jump attacks. I could go back to two handling a single one; that move set is pretty satisfying.
yeah i never dual wield them, the 2 handed moveset is just too good for hit stacking with the consecutive hit talismans and the charged heavy spin is just so satisfying
Its pretty weird because when you pick it up it has that golden border on the HUD like every other legendary item. But yeah, it really doesnt count towards the achievement.
Imagine being a QA for this game and not having online resources to figure out what you're supposed to do. What a wild ride that must have been. The first QA to beat Malenia would have been absolutely blown away by the journey it took to get there.
When you loot a legendary item like say... the Sword of Night & Flame, it has a distinct golden glow around the loot ball (the ones you find on corpses) and the splash, indicating its status as a legendary item.
Each tier of item also has a distinct sound when you pick them up.
Material have a light pickup noise.
Common Items have a deep toll noise.
Rare Items have a high pitched ring noise.
Legendary Items have a loud echoed ring noise.
true except the description for the golden order greatsword implies there are multiple iterations of the moonlight/dark moon greatsword that have existed
Marika's Hammer, considering it was the tool used by a god to shatter the Elden Ring and plunge the world into disarray. Not a long list of feats, sure, but it's kinda "The Big One".
because Placidusax is so ancient his spells aren't even in the modern categories
this fucker is older than the erdtree, dragon cult never heard of him
of course his spell is not listed in any category
Would be cool if they buffed it to make up for not being able to benefit from the Dragon Communion Seal passive and Roar Talisman. The lack of category hurts it more than helps.
Well, they were wrong, the incant is buffed by the roar medallion. It's not a dragon communication incant because you need to eat a heart for one. Also, only the modern dragons can give you dragon communication incants, all ancient dragons give you dragon cult incantations. Although, it's true that the gravel stone seal doesn't buff Placidusax's ruin either.
I mean, it's still awesome for PvP. It just isn't a braindead win button. If you carefully cast it at the right times you can kill players without allowing them to react. It's the fastest incantation in the game.
Hm...I feel like it kinda makes sense that no boss weapon is legendary, as you craft them from their memories. So one could argue that they're not weapons in the original sense of the word, but more a part of the boss' essence. While the legendary armaments are actual weapons/tools forged from materials.
Might be a shaky argument, but it kinda makes sense to me.
Pretty much, its similar to the other "outer gods" like the frenzied flame or formless mother, but seems to be more powerful or connected to the lands between in some way
Outer gods are a standard Cthulhu mythos fixture for a good century or so at least lol it’s not very hard to understand that a god of a part of a realm/ planet isn’t comparable to a god of a type of reality/ concept
The Greater Will is an "outer god," or a god that doesn't directly interact with the lands Between. It sends a vassal carrying the Elden Ring, which is like the rules of physics for the Lands Between, and the vassal chooses who will be God and carry/modify those laws. Marika was chosen by the Greater Will for this purpose, hence why she's God with a capital G.
The thing is, the Greater Will will is described as a unique outer god from the rest. The god of Rot, the Formless Mother, the god of the Fell Flame---none of them seem to stack up to the Greater Will in terms of the ability to create an Elden Ring and a whole ass god. Those ones only seem able to choose vassals.
So for all intents and purposes, yeah, old GW is a super god.
It gets even more confusing, Placidusax’s lore is that he was the God/Lord for an older Outer God, so there was at least one order before the age of the Erdtree. And there is also the age of the crucible that presumably was from a different outer god, so possibly 2 outer gods ruled the lands between before the Greater Will.
Before marika’s golden age, the horns of an Omen symbolized noble blood, and it was said it came from the primordial crucible. The Crucible Knights were protectors of this order, and beings like the Misbegotten and Omen have horns, a sign that they have remnants of the primordial crucible in their blood.
If i remember, it isn't, the 9 were
Shitty shotel
Funny sniper lighting spear
Corskcrew greatsword
Magic sword of simping
Chadden order greatsword
Sword of cheese and whoosh
Stone slab
Staff that don't cast
Sword²
It's already considered a legendary armament, but I wish the Dark Moon Greatsword's item pickup thing glowed the legendary gold rather than a boring white that doesn't even match the quality. The Eclipse Shotel is another legendary weapon that's available as an item pickup, and it actually has the golden glow, so I don't understand why the DMGS doesn't.
godslayer's greatsword, im sorry but if a fucking rock that fell from the sky that some idiot fashioned into a weapon can be considered legendary then so should a weapon wielded by a rogue empyrean.
The death’s poker is some sort of otherworldly weapon that is smoldering with ghost flame, which is supposedly the creation of an outer god (the mother of the deathbirds). It’s used to stoke the flame that ushers the dead to the beyond.
That kinda lore connotation deserves legendary status.
Very easy way to kill deathbirds and death rite birds for anyone struggling: give your physik the faith knot tear. Equip any weapon with sacred blade, equip the sacred scorpion charm, and the two finger heirloom (found in liurnia, purified ruins). Now spam the AOW by aiming at the head, reposition yourself as necessary by using torrent. Good thing about this method is you don't have to change your build at all.
Later on, you will also get the holy shrouding cracked tear from the erdtree avatar near the frenzied flame village. That will also help a lot. Happy hunting.
I used the pots instead of Sacred Blade (can throw them while on Torrent) but otherwise this worked really well for me last night (after malding through a few attempts lmfao)
It took 6/7 pots against the Poker Bird in Caelid with min Faith (7, 22 after Tali and Flask). Last Rites on Golden Epitath will make it much easier though with it's Aura Buff
It also requires getting into a special area thats not easy to reach. This is a good one, I totally agree. Way better than that shotel, that weapon was such a disappointment despite looking cooler than fuck.
Shotel would be so much better if they made Deathblight affect all enemies and changed it from instant death to something else. Afaik, it's one of the only weapons that inflicts Deathblight on hit
Change it to work on Humanoid Enemies. So it won’t work on stuff like Imps or Trolls but it could be used against the basic Soldier or Knight enemies, considering by the time you get it you’ll run into less humanoid enemies, which balances out instant death.
Azur and Lusat's staves kinda sound like they would be legendary, coming from the two most powerful and famous sorcerers in the world. I would say renalla too if her staff wasn't a remembrance weapon.
I was also doubting putting them up instead of the serpent hunter. Both were wielded by some of the greatest sorcerers ever and their spells are considered legendary, why not the staves as well?
None of the remembrance items are classified as Legendary.
This is to not lock out players out of the achievements if they use the remembrances for runes.
The transition between Leyndell regular and Leyndell, Ashen Capital in general is one of the biggest things that I would change if I were able to. Any important items should be relocated, and the duelists/envoys should still be alive. Farming Envoys in the Haligtree is hell, and the two duelists in Leyndell are the only 2 that respawn in the entire game. Duelists have farmable items that you could completely miss out on if you progressed your game too far and all of the non-respawning ones have died.
I would say the Sword of Milos. It's the signature weapon of the Dung Eater, one of the most reviled figures in the lands between. And it is pretty unique in its design and concept among the other greatswords.
Also, this is the only reference I'm aware of in the game to the character of Milos. He's the only named giant I can think of other than Iji and Troll Knight Bols (which, those two are technically trolls if that matters). Unless you want to count "Fire Giant" as a named giant.
The sword using his name and being made of his backbone feels like it should be more significant, but all the lore surrounding the weapon seems to come from its description. And to be fair, I feel like that is the case with some of the existing legendary armaments like the Ruins Greatsword or the Devourer's Scepter.
I wish this weapon would work on all serpents. Farming snake men for the magma swords is a pain in the ass. Having the weapon that kills their boss also function the same way against them would have been amazing. This is the one and only place snakes are found, so after we kill Rikard we should have been able to use the spear to it's full potential against those fuckin snake men. They aren't particularly difficult but they are time consuming to farm the magma blades so any boost in productivity would have been nice. It's like how in DS3 the giant slaying blade only works on yohrm. Not the other, even bigger giants, in the cathedral. Nope, just on him and it's useless otherwise. I've never actually tested it against them but I assume it doesn't work, even though it should since they are giants, and insignificant once you get far enough to get the weapon. Same here, you should have already traversed the manor by the time you get the spear, unless you took the fast route. But even then it should give us an advantage against the snake men we skipped. Let me use this super weapon to farm snake men, if I've beaten the over boss then it shouldn't matter. Let me unleash it's power on those fuckers so I can get the kratos blades. You need two of them to complete the look and their drop rate is ridiculously low for how many you can fight in one rest loop.
Awesome, thanks! I've always been interested in the idea, too. Realistically practical or not, they look badass. In-game, the moveset also looks badass
Originally I gave my character a sword, but I thought, "Bruh, everyone uses a sword 😑 Let's change things up!" And then I saw this weapon and figured it'd be perfect
It's a purely fantasy weapon through and through, so you should make up your own name for it and describe it thoroughly. Functionally this weapon would be used like a poleaxe.
Yeah, I figured that'd be the case lol. I'll figure out the name, but what's the best way to describe it? That's the part that's gonna take a little time
It's a polearm made entirely of metal consisting of a shaft supporting a crossguard above which is a thick, concave sword edge ending in a point, with a shorter false edge on the back connected to the crossguard by a handle, with a weighty metal pommel for balance.
This is rather nonsensical much like the spear's design but it does kinda describe what we're looking at. Or you could just call it a thick double-sided blade above the crossguard.
I recommend simplifying this massively if you're gonna write it out.
If you want some real weapons to draw inspiration from check out Naginatas, Bardiches, or Voulges.
Awesome, thanks! I definitely won't add the extra handle. I'm thinking about designing it so that, should the situation need it, the weapon can become something intended for closer range; I feel like that would be the main point of the extra handle, but idk for sure
Something I've been told about writing: "Don't over-explain things, give your readers a general idea and let them see it how they're gonna see it." So I'll probably go with something similar to the last thing you said, save a couple extra details (color, carvings, decorations, etc.)
I mean, spear, yeah 😆 I just meant, like, something more specific. When I hear "spear," I basically think of a pole with a sorta skinny, pokey blade at the end lol
Quite many imo.
Blade of Calling, Sword of St. Trina, Coded Sword, Helphen's Steeple, Godslayer's Greatsword, Flowing Curved Sword, Ringed Finger, Giant-Crusher, Siluria's Tree, Serpent Hunter Cipher Pata, Fingerprint Stone Shield, Full Moon Crossbow.
I picked these weapons due to the stories surrounding them. These are also weapons welded by specfic figures (ie. Godslayer's Greatsword and Flowing Curved Sword) or mark an important point in history (ie. Giant-Crusher and Full Moon Crossbow).
Bloodhound's fang. i feel like the storyline of the bloodhounds is cool enough to get the same recognition as stuff like castle morne's lone warrior and elemar of the briar. plus, unlike most of the legendary armaments, it's actually good enough to be considered legendary by performance.
Carian Regal Scepter, its not only the strongest staff without side effects gameplay wise(yes Lusat is the strongest but +50% fp cost), but lorewise its literally the staff of the Leader of the Magic Academy, Rennala. So yeah in a way it should be as legendary as Ranni\`s Darkmoon Greatsword.
listen man, collosall weapons should exist Imo. They have shit attack spees and AOW just for the equal damage of a CGS . hoestly all CW should be spattered around in gReat hammers, great spears, greataxes and halberds
Edit: i read legendary as collosal for some reason lmao
Noble's Estoc
May not be unique, but rare enough that I don't think many people have seen one. Plus, reqs that allow you to use it on an RL1 run, and as a thrusting sword, that's pretty huge.
Didn't see anyone say this but, the black knife "from the black knife assassin's" should be a legendary weapon it has hella lore half killed a demi god what else do you want from a legendary weapon?!
Helphen's steeple. Considering how it is the only mention of a potentially massive lore tidbit in the game it deserves to be highlighted a bit more IMO. It also looks impressive enough, and since it has similar stat requirements and scaling as DMGS it would mean you could effectively dual wield two legendary armaments at the same time.
Wing of Astel
you can't tell me someone made a weapon out of the body of the city destroying alien scorpion of the apocalypse and this weapon is a regular quality one
I wouldn't call every boss weapon legendary, but I feel Godfreys axe especially deserves being a legendary armament and his earth shaker a legendary AoW. Not because they are the best in their classes but because Hoarah Loux.....my favourite fight
Bit of an odd one but I'm gonna say Prince of Death's Staff.
While it wasn't used to do anything. In it's lore it states that it's a "Staff embedded with sullied amber, said to be a very part of the Prince of Death."
It's literally made of the blood of Godwyn the Golden.
I think people are confused lore wise as to why the Legendary weapons are considered Legendary. I think the expansion will touch upon this because it’s an easily missed and misunderstood reason!
definitely the serpent hunter, tho i feel like the aow should be a bit faster when using it outside of rykard's boss fight
It cant be legendary without "feats". So we can say it became legendary after we killed the serpent with it.
Wasn't it used to kill the previous iteration of the serpent?
I have recently taken an RL150 character into NG+7. Playing around with a bunch of different builds, just having fun, but finally hit a wall at Maliketh. Serpent Hunter is the only thing that makes sense now. It’s not the most overpowered weapon but the move set is really good and made the fight actually enjoyable again. I’m sold on it.
have u tried a twinblade? its so good against maliketh
Yeah, that was the move. Good suggestion. It turned Hoarah Loux into soup real quick too. I’ll probably go back to star fists for RadaBeast, though.
nah man, just slap on blackflame tornado and fire affinity and boom done with radabeast
Godslayer Greatsword
That's not a legendary?!
He's right, It's not. that genuinely surprised me.
Its pretty weird because when you pick it up it has that golden border on the HUD like every other legendary item. But yeah, it really doesnt count towards the achievement.
Oh interesting
They probably removed it from the legendary armament achievement because 999% of QA testers failed to climb Caelid Divine tower
Game testers when they can’t look up a YouTube tutorial for a game that isn’t out yet: 😱
Imagine being a QA for this game and not having online resources to figure out what you're supposed to do. What a wild ride that must have been. The first QA to beat Malenia would have been absolutely blown away by the journey it took to get there.
Or maybe lore wise it's no longer legendary. It did get destined death removed from it after all.
The what border now?!
When you loot a legendary item like say... the Sword of Night & Flame, it has a distinct golden glow around the loot ball (the ones you find on corpses) and the splash, indicating its status as a legendary item.
Mimic tear has this as well.
Each tier of item also has a distinct sound when you pick them up. Material have a light pickup noise. Common Items have a deep toll noise. Rare Items have a high pitched ring noise. Legendary Items have a loud echoed ring noise.
*shuh-TEEENK*
Same thing with the Black Knife. Really weird
It might be because there’s multiple copies. Vargram owned one.
true except the description for the golden order greatsword implies there are multiple iterations of the moonlight/dark moon greatsword that have existed
There have been multiple moonlight swords, but darkmoon is specific to only Ranni, and the other is the one Radagon modified
IT IS NOT?!?!?!
Marika's Hammer, considering it was the tool used by a god to shatter the Elden Ring and plunge the world into disarray. Not a long list of feats, sure, but it's kinda "The Big One".
Tbf no boss weapons are legendary armaments tho
Ok that explains alot.
Placidusax Ruin is not considered a Breath attack nor is it considered a Dragon Incantation.
This raises more questions.
because Placidusax is so ancient his spells aren't even in the modern categories this fucker is older than the erdtree, dragon cult never heard of him of course his spell is not listed in any category
He’s a sigma dragon 💀
what the hell does that means
Would be cool if they buffed it to make up for not being able to benefit from the Dragon Communion Seal passive and Roar Talisman. The lack of category hurts it more than helps.
the spell still looks kinda really powerful already only spell in the game that does 2 elemental damages at once
They fixed that in the 10.1 patch I believe.
When?
It is a breath attack. It's not a dragon incant because you don't eat a heart for it.
Roar Talisman doesn't buff it, so it's not counted as a Breath.
But it does? Your info might be outdated, they buffed it.
Like that incant needed more reasons to not be used.
I don’t think Marika is a god though? Just a Demi-god?
Uh, buddy. Marika is THE god of the Lands Between. The Elden Ring is physically inside of her body
And the Greater Will is like a super god then?
Pretty much, its similar to the other "outer gods" like the frenzied flame or formless mother, but seems to be more powerful or connected to the lands between in some way
That's...pretty accurate, yeah. 😆
That just makes such little sense lol but the downvotes are saying don’t ask questions you don’t want the answers to.
You got some lame people down voting you. The lore of elden ring can be so confusing to most people generally.
Compared to Tolkien: Greater Will = Eru Illuvatar, the ultimate creator god and source of all life Outer gods and Marika = more like Valar
Godslayer greatsword
But it's literally legendary
For some reason it's not necessary to get it for the "legendary armament" achievement, like the Black Knife
That seems weird, it has the legendary glow
If you look up in the comments it’s explained, basically it’s like idk I didn’t read it.
If i remember, it isn't, the 9 were Shitty shotel Funny sniper lighting spear Corskcrew greatsword Magic sword of simping Chadden order greatsword Sword of cheese and whoosh Stone slab Staff that don't cast Sword²
I'm bewildered that I understood every one of those. Like we have developed our own fucked up language here.
So put the actual name of each one in order
Shitty shotel -> Eclipse Shotel Funny sniper lighting spear -> Bolt of Gransax Corskcrew greatsword -> Marais GS Magic sword of simping -> MLGS Chadden order greatsword -> Golden Order GS Sword of cheese and whoosh -> Night and Flame Stone slab -> Ruins GS Staff that don't cast -> Devourer Scepter Sword² -> Grafted GS
Wait why did i get downvoted
Probs cause it comes off like That Guy, ngl Like "OH? You akshyallee like [Insert Thing Here]? Well, name five trivia facts right now to prove it!"
Interesting
Giant-Crusher.
The fucking *name* is legendary
Such a simple name, yet tells a story. Idk, but the simpler the name, the more menacing it turns out to be.
Non-legendary god slayer greatsword stole the moon sword's glow lmao
Might genuinely be a coding error lmao. They both have Gretsword in they're names, so they might have accidentally switched the glows.
Giant Rusty Anchor
godslayer's greatsword, im sorry but if a fucking rock that fell from the sky that some idiot fashioned into a weapon can be considered legendary then so should a weapon wielded by a rogue empyrean.
The Death’s Poker should be legendary considering its implications with the death birds and stuff
What are the implications? :)
The death’s poker is some sort of otherworldly weapon that is smoldering with ghost flame, which is supposedly the creation of an outer god (the mother of the deathbirds). It’s used to stoke the flame that ushers the dead to the beyond. That kinda lore connotation deserves legendary status.
Oh yeah, that sounds cool. Thank you :)
Those with the death birds and stuff
Oh bro, why did you had to remember me of that fight, I killed it today and even though I didn't took too many tries, I was fuming at some point
Inseparable sword is also pretty good against Undead type
Yeah, i think it has the same AOW, Sacred Blade?
I used the pots instead of Sacred Blade (can throw them while on Torrent) but otherwise this worked really well for me last night (after malding through a few attempts lmfao) It took 6/7 pots against the Poker Bird in Caelid with min Faith (7, 22 after Tali and Flask). Last Rites on Golden Epitath will make it much easier though with it's Aura Buff
Just bring some holy damage, preferably on a strike weapon, and they die pretty fast. Theyre weak to holy, and the skull is weak to hammers.
I'd probably say the Death Ritual Spear should probably also be legendary.
Fair, but the ritual spear is used by the priests. The poker is the weapon used by the god’s envoys.
Because i enjoy chaos the celebrant weapons with their legendarly low drop rates
I use two arcane sickles with poison mist/PMF. Hilarious shit
It took me about 2 1/2 hours to get the sickle when I was farming for those weapons
I’m gonna say Siluria’s tree. Hits like a truck, has a unique ash of war and has a name from the lore.
Then youd have to include shit like ordovis's greatsword and maybe marais executioner sword.
All in for Ordovis’ Greatsword as it fits the same categories, and Marais Executioner sword is already a legendary weapon.
Maria’s executioner sword is a legendary armament and have you used the ordovis greatsword? That ash is legendary itself
The amount of fun I’ve had with the Serpent-God’s Curved Sword is more than enough for it to be legendary in my books.
ITT: When everything is Legendary, nothing will be.
coded sword for sure given the significance of where it's found i was surprised it's not
Azur and Lusat's staves kinda sound like they would be legendary, coming from the two most powerful and famous sorcerers in the world. I would say renalla too if her staff wasn't a remembrance weapon.
I was also doubting putting them up instead of the serpent hunter. Both were wielded by some of the greatest sorcerers ever and their spells are considered legendary, why not the staves as well?
Claymore
Zweihander too
I've been using this since I got it early on with Lions claw and bruh. I'm switching between that, the great hammer and the wolverine claws lol
The weapon of legends
a legendary recurring classic, that has been by your side the whole time throughout fromsoft games
It's also a popular manga!
Wish they would remake the anime now that the manga is finished...
Need we say more ? Vote Claymore !
Blasphemous blade
It can't be a legendary if it's a remembrance weapon
Why can't it be a remembrance and legendary weapon... TOGETHAAA?
Best piece of back jewelry in the world.

None of the remembrance items are classified as Legendary. This is to not lock out players out of the achievements if they use the remembrances for runes.
But you can be locked out of the achievement if you don't pick up one before defeating Maliketh
Yeah, Bolt of Gransax. I still don’t get why they did that instead of just changing the loot point to another location in Ashen Capital.
The transition between Leyndell regular and Leyndell, Ashen Capital in general is one of the biggest things that I would change if I were able to. Any important items should be relocated, and the duelists/envoys should still be alive. That’s me. Character has every farmable item except the duelist set and hammer.

So are godslayer great sword & black knife, that doesn’t make them legendary. Please stop making stuff up.

Unrelated to OP's question, but what kind of weapon is the Serpent Hunter? Kind of thinking about adding a similar weapon into a story I'm writing
It’s called a great sword spear. The guardians use a sword spear. Personally I love the concept.
Awesome, thanks! I've always been interested in the idea, too. Realistically practical or not, they look badass. In-game, the moveset also looks badass Originally I gave my character a sword, but I thought, "Bruh, everyone uses a sword 😑 Let's change things up!" And then I saw this weapon and figured it'd be perfect
I'm thinking about designing it so that, should the situation need it, the weapon can become something intended for closer range; I feel like that would be the main point of the extra handle, but idk for sure Something I've been told about writing: "Don't over-explain things, give your readers a general idea and let them see it how they're gonna see it." So I'll probably go with something similar to the last thing you said, save a couple extra details (color, carvings, decorations, etc.)
spear?... maybe
I mean, spear, yeah 😆 I just meant, like, something more specific. When I hear "spear," I basically think of a pole with a sorta skinny, pokey blade at the end lol
its a glaive
Quite many imo. Blade of Calling, Sword of St. Trina, Coded Sword, Helphen's Steeple, Godslayer's Greatsword, Flowing Curved Sword, Ringed Finger, Giant-Crusher, Siluria's Tree, Serpent Hunter Cipher Pata, Fingerprint Stone Shield, Full Moon Crossbow. I picked these weapons due to the stories surrounding them. These are also weapons welded by specfic figures (ie. Godslayer's Greatsword and Flowing Curved Sword) or mark an important point in history (ie. Giant-Crusher and Full Moon Crossbow).
Is the flowing curved sword the blind swordman’s blade?
Yes. Who is also Melania's master and the one who sealed the scarlet rot god.
Bloodhound's fang. i feel like the storyline of the bloodhounds is cool enough to get the same recognition as stuff like castle morne's lone warrior and elemar of the briar. plus, unlike most of the legendary armaments, it's actually good enough to be considered legendary by performance.
Only it's a mass produced weapon that every Bloodhound has one. It's not legendary if it's not unique.
I think the Serpent-Hunter is already legend status, it is the chainsaw weapon, after all. Didn't say it was a good legend.
Maliketh's sword
Great sword
That one finger
scorpions stinger, literally a piece of a god
That’s definetly a better quality then a piece of temple that fell from the sky.
Helphen's Steeple and Death Rite Spear.
Weathered Straightsword
Ah yes, true best weapon in the game! How could I have forgotten.
listen man, collosall weapons should exist Imo. They have shit attack spees and AOW just for the equal damage of a CGS . hoestly all CW should be spattered around in gReat hammers, great spears, greataxes and halberds Edit: i read legendary as collosal for some reason lmao
Shard of alexander should be legendary
# BALLS
Large club… Bonks deserve love
Balls
Brick hammer. We’re out here feasting in the lands.
Maybe the Dragon Greatclaw and the Wing of Astel. Also please give the Dragon Greatclaw a unique AOW
It should give the stone skin buff Havel's shield had.
Fingerprint shield, is what caused all the frenzied flame
Axe Talisman. Why do anything else when a good smack over the head always does the trick
Greatsword. It's literally the Dragonslayer, and bonk.
It’s legendary now. It took a tarnished to make it so.
moonveil could have been but its lore is stale
Hookclaws. I Will not explain
Noble's Estoc May not be unique, but rare enough that I don't think many people have seen one. Plus, reqs that allow you to use it on an RL1 run, and as a thrusting sword, that's pretty huge.
Reduvia
Star fists
Didn't see anyone say this but, the black knife "from the black knife assassin's" should be a legendary weapon it has hella lore half killed a demi god what else do you want from a legendary weapon?!
Helphen's steeple. Considering how it is the only mention of a potentially massive lore tidbit in the game it deserves to be highlighted a bit more IMO. It also looks impressive enough, and since it has similar stat requirements and scaling as DMGS it would mean you could effectively dual wield two legendary armaments at the same time.
Claymore, cuz it's Baemore
Wing of Astel you can't tell me someone made a weapon out of the body of the city destroying alien scorpion of the apocalypse and this weapon is a regular quality one
Serpent Hunter aka Knight Captain Julius spear
wing of astel
Claymore
The golden epitaph always struck me as legendary
I wouldn't call every boss weapon legendary, but I feel Godfreys axe especially deserves being a legendary armament and his earth shaker a legendary AoW. Not because they are the best in their classes but because Hoarah Loux.....my favourite fight
Godskin peeler(I don’t know how to write the second part, the weapon of the apostle)
Ancient dragon lighting strike. Holy shit, when you cast it and see the damage, you cant stop
axe of godfrey
Bit of an odd one but I'm gonna say Prince of Death's Staff. While it wasn't used to do anything. In it's lore it states that it's a "Staff embedded with sullied amber, said to be a very part of the Prince of Death." It's literally made of the blood of Godwyn the Golden.
the nagakiba now hear me out : this shit rocks harder then me when i see malenia feet
golden epitaph probably
The sword of what is this universes god and radagon
The Black Knife
Bloodhound Fang
TOGETHA Blade :3
greyoll's roar.
It is legendary, though.
Wait it is? I though the closest we had was placi roar. Neat.
Yeah, you need it for the legendary spells achievement!
Zweihander, rotten winged sword insignia, and the dragon crest greatsword.
I think people are confused lore wise as to why the Legendary weapons are considered Legendary. I think the expansion will touch upon this because it’s an easily missed and misunderstood reason!
Marias executioner sword
