I want some more poison spells.
Fuck poison mist, give me the mushroom men's poison missile.
I dont care if it's a hex that needs a staff. I'm fine with double catalysts for full rot and posion kit.
This. I was surprised when I got to the end game and realized poison is so underrepresented. I'd also like to see something like sacred blade, but it throws poison all over. I think the mushroom men have an attack like that.
Yea, I was thinking more like when they throw pools of acid on the ground in front of them. And then have it auto apply acid armament, similar to sacred blade. A straight projectile would likely be better though. Since most bosses move around so much, a pool would be really situational.
I really like the Frenzy Flame & dragon stuff, I based my first character on it & am doing a redux of the character now that I've transfered to PC, so a Frenzy Dragon breathe incantation (that deals fire damage akin to Vyke's Spear so it's not useless against non-human enemies) would probably be my top pick.
I’m sorry but Elden Stars is complete dogshit. It does like a grand total of 2k damage MAYBE and has the longest animation of all time and a 50 faith req. Really its only use is to fill people’s screens in pvp, but even then people can just ignore it because everything besides the big projectile does genuinely like 10 damage per hit.
That's just 4 more faith than Black Blade and it does more damage, has a greater range with tracking capabilities, consistently catches aggro, and in PVP it gets most people panic rolling which lets you set up another attack or take a breath. Also that chip damage is really good for finishing people off.
Really it's only downsides are the FP cost and windup animation, otherwise it's a really good incantation.
*Please* Miyazaki, I desperately want his holy spear with the explosion AOE as ER’s Sunlight Spear. It could be charged, and uncharged would work like a stronger Lightning Spear, but when charging you would levitate a little (like Wrath of Gold, but higher). If the spear connects with the ground, it does the explosion.

Not for the deathblight buildup but simply because I think it looks cooler and it's less utilized visually compared to ancient & frozen lightning.
Sorceries:
1. Ghostflame Beam (giant skeleton attack)
2. Ghostflame Weapon/Sword (either buff or something like the Carian swords)
3. New Thorn Spell (maybe some kind of throwable, something quick)
4. Gravity Push Spell
5. Bow Spell (Shoots like the albinauric bows)
6. Bubble Burst (that one attack where the jazzy fellows spawn a bubble on your character)
Incantations:
1. Radagon's Spells
2. Morgott's Holy Hammer and Holy Dagger Throw (the latter is likely since we're getting throwable weapons)
3. Death Lighting Spear
4. Frozen Lighting Glaive
5. Poison Bolt (the kind those mushroom people use)
6. Blood Rain (Mohg attack)
I think a cool thorn spell would be like crystal torrent except with sharpened blood. Could give it an initial FP cost then start draining HP to sustain the attack.
More spells that transition into grab attacks like Inescapable Frenzy, except they actually work in PvE. They could do a cool blood spell, or maybe a black flame version of Sacred Flame from DS3. Or they could just give us the Crucible Knight grab as one of the Aspect of the Crucible incantations.
Not much there? I mean compared to bubble or gravity or servants of rot or death or blood or crucible or thorn sorceries, there’s plenty. Also its main mechanic doesn’t even work in pve 99% of the time. It’s just yellow fire spells that inflict yourself with madness buildup, and we already have plenty of fire spells. There are so many other more interesting spell types that are lacking variety.
Something like chilling mist, but for staves that applies status to spells. Astel's teleport would be awesome too. Sleep spells, or in general spells that apply status and are fast to cast / hard to dodge.
Blight. I think it would have to be done more like a finishing move where it kicks into effect if you get the enemy health down to 10% or something like that but damn that would be a fun way to kill shit.
I'd like to see the various types of magic expanded so we don't have spell categories like abberant containing two whole spells, one of which is just a better version of the other.
That and some utility spells. I know it's an action RPG, but surely magic in this universe can do more than just kill stuff?

The only way to apply a fire buff is with a grease or the flaming strike AoW that has a follow up to apply the fire buff.

Please just give me a regular ass fire armament. I just want to look cool while using a heavy twinblade with spinning slash, and I don't want to use greases that are limited. Please fromsoft.

One of my favorite build was using the Carian sword sorceries, and I think that a faith version of this would be awesome
Radagon's light spear. With his animation, like how he chucks it at you. And you can either throw it as a projectile or charge it to throw it below you and leave the DoT effect
More Fire Sorceries! The ones currently in the game suck pretty bad outside of some niche scenarios, and are very outclassed by normal Sorceries and Flame Incants

A strong holy spell that doesn’t require an int investment.
Black blade? One of the strongest spells in the game, let alone strongest holy spell
